The smartwatch is powered by the Apple S9 processor while the GPU is PowerVR. The tablet comes with a Retina LTPO OLED capacitive touchscreen and 484 x 396 pixels resolution. The screen of the device is protected by Sapphire crystal glass + Always-on display.

It is built with a glass front, ceramic/sapphire crystal back, and stainless steel frame. The sensors include accelerometer, gyro, heart rate, barometer, always-on altimeter, compass, SpO2, VO2max, temperature (body) + temperature sensing (0.01˚ accuracy) + natural language commands and dictation (talking mode) + ultra Wideband 2 (UWB) support.

The device is fueled with Li-Ion 308 mAh, non-removable + wireless charging. It runs on watchOS 10.0 operating system. Apple Watch Series 9 comes in different colors Graphite, Silver, and Gold. While the smartwatch doesn’t have a 3.5mm jack, it does include a loudspeaker. It is pack with 64 GB internal storage.
