The Asus 8z officially launched on February 28, 2022, in India.

The dimension of the smartphone is 148 x 68.5 x 8.9 mm and weighs 169 grams. The device has an aluminum frame and gets a glass panel on the front (Gorilla Glass Victus) and back (Gorilla Glass 3).

The Asus 8z has a 5.9-inch S-AMOLED display with FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,100 nits of brightness. For selfies, it has a 12 MP camera, and on the back, it has a 64 MP main camera and a 12 MP ultrawide camera.

It comes with Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 5G SoC which can be paired with 6 GB, 8 GB, and 16 GB RAM with 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage. It runs an Android 11 based ZenUI 8 operating system out of the box.

The Asus 8z has a 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging via USB-C (60% in 25 min, 100% in 80 min) + USB Power Delivery 3.0 + Reverse charging. The sensors on the Asus 8z include fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
