HMD Aura 2 has been officially announced on Feb. 11, 2025.

The device features a 6.52-inch IPS LCD with a 576 x 1280 resolution and 460 nits peak brightness. It has an 80.2% screen-to-body ratio and runs on Android 14 (Go edition). Powered by the Unisoc SC9863A (28nm) chipset, it has an octa-core CPU (4×1.6 GHz & 4×1.2 GHz Cortex-A55) and IMG8322 GPU. Storage includes 256GB with 4GB RAM, expandable via microSDXC.

The 13 MP rear camera features autofocus, LED flash, and panorama mode, while the 5 MP front camera supports basic video recording. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, and proximity sensor. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and GALILEO. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo loudspeaker, and FM radio support.

The 5000 mAh battery supports 10W wired charging via USB Type-C. The body measures 166.4 x 76.9 x 9 mm and weighs 185.4g. HMD Aura 2 comes in Midnight Black, Icy Blue, and Electric Purple. The EU version has IP54 dust and water resistance, and it supports repairability for the display, back cover, battery, and charging port. The phone uses a Nano-SIM slot but lacks NFC.
