The phone runs on Android 14 + up to 2 major Android upgrades operating systems while the display size is 6.55 inches OLED, providing a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The device is packed with 8 GB RAM while the internal storage is 128 GB, 256 GB. The smartphone is packed with a dual camera: 50 MP (wide) + 13 MP (telephoto) + 8 MP (ultrawide) on the rear side while on the front, there is a 50 MP (wide) lens.

The device is fueled with a Li-Po 4700 mAh battery + 33W wired. HMD Hyper is available in a single color: Yellow. It supports Nano-SIM, eSIM + Repair-it-yourself capable (display, back cover, battery and charging port repairs) + IP54, dust and splash resistant. It features Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C. HMD Hyper is powered with Qualcomm SM6450 Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset while the GPU is Adreno 710.
