Honor Play 40 Plus has been officially announced on Oct. 13, 2022.

The display of 6.81 inches has an IPS LCD screen type and provides a resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels while the pixel density is 385 PPI (pixels per inch). The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 5G Octa-core processor and Adreno 660 GPU.

The smartphone is packed with 8 GB, 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. The sensors include side-mounted fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, and compass. Honor X40 GT is fueled with Li-Po 4800 mAh battery + Fast charging 66W, 90% in 30 min (advertised) + Reverse charging 5W.

The device comes in four colors: Racing Black, Black, and Silver. It supports Dual SIM and the dimension of the device is 166.1 x 75.8 x 8.5 mm while it weighs 199.5 grams. The device runs on the Android 12 + Magic UI 6.1 operating system.

The device features 50 MP (wide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth) camera on the rear side along with LED flash. On the front, there is a single camera: 16 MP. It features Bluetooth 5.2, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, loudspeaker and Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go.
