The smartphone is protected with IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 1.5m for 30 mins) and MIL-STD-810G compliant. However, it does not guarantee ruggedness or use in extreme conditions.

The dimension of the smartphone is 167.2 x 74.1 x 7.9 mm and weighs 180 grams. The smartphone has a display of 6.8 inches P-OLED capacitive touchscreen and provides a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm SDM765 Snapdragon 765G Octa-core processor. The device is available in various colors such as Aurora White, Aurora Green, Aurora Gray, Illusion Sunset, Red, and Pink.

The smartphone is fueled with 4300 mAh, Li-Polymer battery capacity which is non-removable, Fast charging 25W, Fast wireless charging 9W, Quick Charge 4.0+, and USB Power Delivery 3.0.

The smartphone consists of a triple camera on the rear side that includes 48 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 5 MP (macro) while on the front, there is a 16 MP (standard) camera.

The LG Velvet 5G runs on the Android 10.0 + LG UX 9 operating system and it is pack with 6 GB, 8 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage option.
