Nothing Phone (4a) has been officially released on March 5, 2026.

This Android 16 smartphone combines a distinctive design with balanced performance and a high-quality display. It measures 164 × 77.6 × 8.6 mm and weighs 204.5 grams. The build includes a glass front protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, a glass back, and a plastic frame. The device carries an IP64 rating for dust protection and resistance to water splashes, with manufacturer-rated water resistance up to 25 cm for 20 minutes.

A signature design element includes 63 mini-LEDs on the back, arranged into six individually addressable lighting zones. Nothing Phone (4a) features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display capable of producing 1 billion colors. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming for smoother visuals and improved eye comfort.

The resolution is 1224 × 2720 pixels with around 440 ppi density. HDR10+ and Ultra HDR support enhance image quality, while brightness reaches 800 nits typically, 1600 nits in high brightness mode, and up to 4500 nits peak. Running Android 16 with Nothing OS 4.1 and up to three major Android upgrades, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset built on a 4nm process.

Storage options include 128GB or 256GB with up to 12GB RAM using UFS 3.1. The triple rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. A 32MP front camera handles selfies. The battery capacity is 5080mAh globally or 5400mAh in India, supporting 50W wired charging.
