Sony Xperia 5 V has been officially announced on Sept. 1, 2023.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and runs on the Android 13 operating system. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and features 1B colors, 120Hz, HDR10, BT.2020. The display comes with a 6.1 inches OLED capacitive touchscreen and 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution.

The smartphone is pack with 8 RAM with 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage. It features a dual camera on the rear side – 48 MP (wide) + 12 MP (ultrawide) – while on the front there is a single camera: 12 MP (wide). The camera comes with Zeiss optics, Zeiss T* lens coating, LED flash, panorama, HDR, eye tracking.

Sony Xperia 5 V is fueled with a Li-Po 5000 mAh, non-removable + 30W wired, PD3.0, PPS, 50% in 30 min (advertised) + Wireless + Reverse wireless. The sensors include side-mounted fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, barometer, compass, color spectrum + native Sony Alpha camera support. The dimension of the device is 154 x 68 x 8.6 mm and it weighs 182 grams.
