The Tecno Pop 9 4G offers a stylish build with a glass front, plastic back, and plastic frame. It features a dual Nano-SIM setup and is IP54-rated for dust and splash resistance. The display is a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen, with a 90Hz refresh rate in India and 120Hz internationally. The resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, with a 20:9 aspect ratio, provides clear visuals at around 263 ppi density.

The device runs on Android 14 (Go edition) and is powered by the Unisoc T615 chipset in the international version and the Mediatek Helio G50 in India. The international version has an octa-core CPU (2×1.8 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.6 GHz Cortex-A55), while the Indian version uses a 2.2 GHz Cortex-A53 octa-core CPU. For graphics, the international version has the Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, and the India version features the PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
