Vivo officially announced the V7 Plus (stylized as V7+) on September 7th 2017 and released on September 15th.
Vivo has announced that they will be expanding further into the Asian market, notably into the Philippines on September 20. The Vivo V7 Plus was first released outside of China, in India on September 15th.
The smartphone is the successor to the Vivo V5 Plus.
The Vivo V7 Plus is a mid-range smartphone that features a 18:9 aspect ratio IPS display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 and a 5.99-inch size. The screen provides a slimmer and taller body to the device making handling more comfortable during longer use.
The device is built with a polycarbonate body with a metallic-like finish on top. Inside the device is powered by a 3,225 mAh battery with a Snapdragon 450 paired with 4GB RAM.
The smartphone comes with 64GB base internal storage and supports MicroSD expansion, up to 256GB.
The smartphone features a 16-megapixel rear-facing sensor with a f/2.0 aperture. The device is notably more ‘selfie-orientated’ with a 24-megapixel sensor, f/2.0 aperture.
The Vivo V7+ sports an AK4376A Hi-Fi chipset providing high-quality sound output through the device’s 3.5mm headphone jack.
