The phone runs Android 16 and features an in-display fingerprint sensor. The overall hardware is positioned in the upper mid-range segment, with a strong focus on display quality, cameras and fast charging. The display is a relatively compact 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with 1260 × 2750 resolution and around 454 ppi.

Vivo V80 supports 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and P3 wide color gamut, giving it strong specifications for gaming, streaming and everyday multimedia use. Performance comes from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, featuring an octa-core processor clocked up to 2.8GHz. It has 8GB RAM with 12GB virtual RAM and 256GB internal storage, with no microSD card support.

The rear camera setup consists of 50MP + 50MP + 8MP sensors, with OIS and support for 4K video recording. The 50MP front camera is also notably high-resolution, making the setup suitable for photography, video calls and social media content. Connectivity includes 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi, NFC and an IR blaster. The phone uses USB-C 2.0, while there is no FM radio or 3.5mm headphone jack.

The 7,200mAh battery is a major specification, offering substantial capacity for extended usage. Charging is particularly fast with 100W FlashCharge, and reverse charging is also supported. With its 144Hz AMOLED display, triple 50MP-based camera setup, 7,200mAh battery and 100W charging, the phone is designed to balance multimedia, photography and battery endurance in a relatively compact form factor.
