Vivo Y31 also meets MIL-STD-810H standards, providing additional resistance to environmental stresses, though it is not fully rugged. The 6.68-inch IPS LCD offers smooth visuals at 120Hz and reaches a peak brightness of 1000 nits (HBM). With a resolution of 720 x 1608 pixels (~264 ppi) and an ~84% screen-to-body ratio, the screen is protected by ion-strengthened Guardian Glass.

Powered by Android 15 with Funtouch 15, the phone uses the Qualcomm SM4450 Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 (4nm) chipset with an octa-core CPU (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A78 & 6×1.95 GHz Cortex-A55) and Adreno 613 GPU. Storage options include 128GB with 4GB or 6GB RAM, using eMMC 5.1, expandable via microSDXC through the shared SIM slot. The rear camera is a 50 MP wide sensor with PDAF and auxiliary lens, supporting ring-LED flash, panorama, and 1080p@30fps video.
