Xiaomi Mi 5 was announced in China on 24th February 2016 . The 5.15-inch smartphone comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection for its display and back panel. Available in three different variants viz. standard, prime and pro, all three variants are powered by Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and Android 6.0 – Marshmallow operating system.

Xiaomi Mi 5 standard edition comes with a 3 GB Ram + 32 GB internal storage while the Prime edition provides 3 GB Ram + 64 GB internal storage. The most significant upgrade can be found in Mi 5 Pro edition with 4 GB Ram + 128 GB internal storage and a 3D ceramic body.

The back camera is a 16 MP, f/2.0 lens with PDAF and 4 axis OIS while up front you can find a camera with 4 MP, f/2.0 lens, 1/3″ sensor size, 2µm pixel size and 1080p@30fps. Other features include 1/2.8″ sensor size, 1.12 µm pixel size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, panorama, HDR.

Cast in lustrous hues of Black, White, Gold and Ceramic this metal beauty comes with additional features like NFC, Infrared and Fingerprint sensor.

Xiaomi Mi 5 standard edition retailed at $305 while the Prime and Pro versions are priced at $360 and $413 respectively.
