Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime is the upgraded version of Redmi 3S with the primary difference being the 3 GB + 32 GB memory. The device comes with a Snapdragon 430 Octa-core processor and 5.0 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen.

It provides a primary camera with 13 MP, f/2.0 and PDAF while the secondary camera comes with a 5 MP, f/2.2 lens with additional features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR and  panorama.

Cast in classic hues of Gold, Dark Grey and Silver this 144 g weighs metal gadget comes with a Non-removable Li-Ion 4100 mAh battery with 5V 2A fast charging.

The device also provides features like fingerprint, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, compass etc; and generic messaging options such as SMS(threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Mail and IM.

Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime retails at $136, slightly higher than its counterpart Redmi 3S.
