Xiaomi Redmi A1 was officially announced on September 6, 2022.

The smartphone is comes with an entry level MediaTek Helio A22 chipset with 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage. The phone runs on the Android 12 Go Edition. It comes with a 5000mAh battery with 10W charger.

The device is available in different colors like Black, Light Blue, and Light Green. The rear camera consists of an 8 MP primary and another 0.3 MP secondary camera. The front camera has a5 MP (wide) sensor. The screen is of 6.5 inches size and the display is IPS LCD which provides 720 x 1600 pixels resolution with 20:9 aspect ratio.

The smartphone features comes with a dedicated MicroSD card slot and comes with features like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, and virtual proximity sensing.
