The trend is continuing with the upcoming OnePlus 9. Although the company hasn&#8217;t confirmed the names yet, it is kind of obvious going by the numbers. Accordingly, we have already seen the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/12/first-hands-on-images-and-specs-leaked/">first hands-on images of the OnePlus 9</a>. Now, an exclusive report by 91Mobiles gives us more details.</p>
<p>Citing its sources, the report says that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-9/">OnePlus 9</a> will come with a 4,500mAh battery with 65W <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/warp-charging">Warp Charging</a>. This is about a 5% increase in capacity over its predecessor, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-8/">OnePlus 8</a>(4,300mAh). Further, if the report is true OnePlus 9 will support Wireless, Reverse Wireless charging apart from having a bigger battery.</p>
<p>Precisely, the OnePlus 9 will finally support <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/wireless-charging">wireless charging</a> up to 30W. Previously, the OnePlus 8 non-Pro didn&#8217;t have it back then but the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-8-pro">OnePlus 8 Pro</a> was the company&#8217;s first to sport it up to 30W. Anyway, it is appreciative of OnePlus finally bringing the nitty-gritty of a premium device to the vanilla model.</p>

<p>Moving on, the report shows two additional images claimed to be of the OnePlus 9 as seen above. One of them even shows a Reverse Charge icon in the quick-pull down menu. This indicates that the device could also <a href="https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/oneplus-9-wireless-charging-feature-exclusive/">support</a> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/reverse-wireless-charging">Reverse Wireless charging</a>. That&#8217;s a no-brainer considering the 8 Pro also had it.</p>
<p>However, the OnePlus 8 Pro had a very <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/04/14/oneplus-8-oneplus-8-pro-specs-price-release-colors-all-you-need-to-know/">slow-rated reverse wireless charging speed</a>. In fact, it&#8217;s very slow that <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oneplus">OnePlus</a> doesn&#8217;t even mention it in the spec sheet on the website. Either way, let&#8217;s hope the company spices it up this time as it will be helpful for quickly juicing up accessories like Wireless earbuds that are getting popular these days.</p>
<p>The OnePlus 9 is expected to feature a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz flat display, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-888">Snapdragon 888 SoC</a>, 50MP/48MP <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/21/oneplus-9-new-leak-reveals-50mp-triple-camera-setup/">triple-camera setup</a>(Leica branding), at least have 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and ship with OxygenOS 11 based on <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android-11">Android 11</a>, and debut in<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/21/oneplus-9-series-could-arrive-sometime-around-mid-march-report/"> mi-March of 2021</a>.</p>
<h6 class="related" style="text-align: center"><strong>UP NEXT: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/24/xiaomi-jab-oneplus-asks-why-settle-for-less/">Xiaomi takes a jab at OnePlus, asks its buyers &#8216;Why Settle for less&#8217;</a></strong></h6>

<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-334073" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/OnePlus-Nord-Featured-Gray-Onyx.jpg?x10805" alt="OnePlus Nord Featured - Gray Onyx" width="1589" height="988" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/OnePlus-Nord-Featured-Gray-Onyx.jpg 1589w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/OnePlus-Nord-Featured-Gray-Onyx-300x187.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/OnePlus-Nord-Featured-Gray-Onyx-768x478.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/OnePlus-Nord-Featured-Gray-Onyx-1024x637.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/OnePlus-Nord-Featured-Gray-Onyx-356x220.jpg 356w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/OnePlus-Nord-Featured-Gray-Onyx-696x433.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/OnePlus-Nord-Featured-Gray-Onyx-1068x664.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/OnePlus-Nord-Featured-Gray-Onyx-675x420.jpg 675w" sizes="(max-width: 1589px) 100vw, 1589px" /></p>
<p>Android Central&#8217;s report quotes insider sources for the new leak. It says that <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/nord-se">Nord SE</a> will be a budget-friendly device just like any other Nord device so far. Codenamed &#8220;Ebba&#8221;, the device will have <a href="https://www.androidcentral.com/oneplus-nord-se-q1-2021-65w-fast-charging">features</a> like <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/65w-warp-charge">65W Warp Charging</a>(fully charger under 40mins), 4,500mAh battery, and <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/amoled">AMOLED</a> panel. That said, we still don&#8217;t know other specifications like processor, camera yet.</p>
<p>Additionally, the report says Nord SE will be available in India and Europe and most likely not in the US. It will be announced shortly after the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oneplus-9">OnePlus 9</a> which is poised to launch sometime around <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/21/oneplus-9-series-could-arrive-sometime-around-mid-march-report/">mid-March of 2021</a>. Having said that, we need more details to conclude on whether Nord SE is an upgrade to the OnePlus Nord. But it is welcoming to see that it retains AMOLED and not boast an LCD display like the N10, and N100.</p>
<p>If we recall, the company recently revealed the new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/26/oneplus-nord-n10-nord-n100-smartphones/">Nord N10 5G, and N100</a> in the EU(European Union), and the US. These devices take a lot of reminiscence to <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oppo">Oppo</a>&#8216;s budget devices like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-a53/">A53</a>. However, the company is mum about its availability in other markets like India. Accordingly, Android Central had also claimed that the devices <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/27/oneplus-nord-n10-5g-n100-will-not-release-in-india-claims-report/">won&#8217;t be available</a> in the country. We will keep you updated as new details about the new Nord device pops up on our radar.</p>

More interesting is the rumour that the OnePlus 8T will come with support for 65W Warp charge support. OnePlus has officially announced that the OP8T will indeed bring support for the 65W Warp charge just as rumoured. This was disclosed by the company in a press release today.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/OnePlus-8T-render-1.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-343596" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/OnePlus-8T-render-1.jpg?x10805" alt="OnePlus 8T render" width="1340" height="754" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/OnePlus-8T-render-1.jpg 1340w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/OnePlus-8T-render-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/OnePlus-8T-render-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/OnePlus-8T-render-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/OnePlus-8T-render-1-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/OnePlus-8T-render-1-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/OnePlus-8T-render-1-746x420.jpg 746w" sizes="(max-width: 1340px) 100vw, 1340px" /></a></p>
<p>The 65W Warp Charge dubbed Warp Charge 65 will debut as OnePlus&#8217; fastest charging solution yet. The solution more than double the charging speed of its predecessor, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/09/20/oneplus-7t-faster-charging-warp-charge-30t/">Warp Charge 30T</a> and is capable of charging the OnePlus 8T 5G’s 4500mAh battery fully in 39 minutes and deliver up to 58% charge in just 15 minutes.</p>
<p>According to OnePlus&#8217; CEO Pete Lau, &#8220;Charging should be quick and simple to help make your digital life as burdenless as possible.&#8221; He added, &#8220;With OnePlus’ focus on delivering a fast and smooth flagship experience, we changed our approach to fast charging with the OnePlus 8T 5G. Our new Warp Charge 65 technology will continue to transform the way people think about charging.&#8221;</p>
<p>OnePlus says the OnePlus 8T will have a twin-battery design which is similar to the battery setup utilised on the Find X2 series by OPPO, a fellow BBK subsidiary. The Find X2 features a pair of 2,130mAh cells and has onboard OPPO’s 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging technology charges both cells simultaneously.</p>
<p>The new twin-battery configuration allows the OnePlus 8T 5G to charge more than twice as fast as Warp Charge 30T. With this new setup, both batteries can charge at more than 30W simultaneously while staying cool even when using the phone.</p>
<p>OnePlus will also ship the OP 8T with the Warp Charge 65 power adapter which is designed to offer high compatibility with other devices. It features a dual-end USB-C port design and supports all previous OnePlus charging protocols. It also supports up to 45W PD charging, providing users with the ability to juice up multiple supporting devices such as laptops or tablets.</p>
<p>On top of the already secure chip framework, OnePlus added an additional encryption chip to the charger and cable and 12 temperature sensors in the phone to allow OnePlus devices to charge intelligently and efficiently in different situations. Furthermore, a new heat dissipation system has been included in the OnePlus 8T 5G to keep the charging temperature at a comfortable level. All of these features have been added to ensure that Warp Charge 65 is not only lightning fast but also safe to use at any time.</p>
<p>The OnePlus 8T 5G, along with the new Warp Charge 65 technology, will officially launch on October 14, 2020. The flagship phone OnePlus 8T 5G available for pre-book starting 25 September to 16 October 2020 at all OnePlus exclusive stores. Pre-booking for the device starts at INR 2000 giving them first preference once open sales are live for the OnePlus 8T 5G.</p>
