The Chinese smartphone maker had just launched the Axon 30 Ultra Aerospace Edition earlier today (25th November 2021) and alongside the high end device, it even launched the Voyage 20 Pro 5G as well. It sports a 6.67 inch AMOLED display that has a high 93.8 percent screen to body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio and offers 90Hz high refresh rate with 360Hz touch sampling rate as well. The display supports 1.07 billion colors and 10 bit colors on its FHD+ panel. This display even offers HDR10 video playback support along with DCI P3 color gamut.

The Voyage 20 Pro is equipped with the Super Antenna 3.0, which the company claims to offer a more stable phone reception along with faster download speeds, which is made possible through the 4G+5G+WiFi three channel network acceleration when the “speed mode” is turned on. Under the hood, a large 5,100mAh battery pack powers the device, which also supports 66W fast charging as well. On the rear, the ZTE Voyage 20 Pro features a 64 megapixel primary camera, paired with a 120 degree ultra wide angle lens, and a macro sensor as well.

Meanwhile, the front houses a 16 megapixel selfie shooter. The device houses a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor and arrives in a single storage variant, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device in question is the Voyage 20 Pro 5G, with the company even revealing some of its feature prior to its launch.

Looking at this image poster, the Chinese smartphone maker revealed the complete design of the smartphone along with certain key specs. On the rear, the smartphone features a triple camera setup with two large sensors along with a smaller one that is housed in a rectangular module. Arriving at the front, a punch hole selfie camera is housed on the AMOLED display. The primary camera on the rear is a 64 megapixel sensor.

Under the hood, the Voyage 20 Pro is powered by a large 5,100mAh battery pack that is claimed to offer long battery life. Its battery even supports up to 66W fast charging as well. Apart from this, finer details regarding this device is currently unknown, although the image poster does showcase the smartphone in two color variants. This includes a dark green gradient color and dual toned blue and pinkish gradient option as well.

Notably, the device is the successor of the Voyage 10 5G that was launched earlier this year in China. It featured an LCD panel with 90Hz refresh rate and a tall 20:9 aspect ratio. So, we can even expect a high refresh rate and tall resolution again. This device was a mid range handset, and was powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. In other words, the company might ship the successor with a Dimensity chip as well. Although, since it is a Pro variant, we might see some top end features as well.

The new phones have received their 3C certificates and it reveals some key details about them.

The Chinese manufacturer will launch two Nova 9 phones first but more should be released later considering the Nova 8 series has more than four models. The Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro are the first two that will be announced and the 3C certificate reveals their model numbers are NAM-AL00 and RTE-AL00 respectively.

The certificate shows that the Nova 9 Pro will have support for multiple charging ratings. The phone will be able to charge at 10W, 66W, and also 100W. The Nova 9, on the other hand, will support 10W, 40W, and 66W fast charging.

Another important detail the certificate reveals is that both phones support LTE and not 5G. This confirms an earlier report that Huawei will launch 4G variants of the Nova 9 series before the 5G models.

In related news, the Chinese leaker, Bald Panda, posted on Weibo that the Nova 9 will have a 4500mAh battery while the Nova 9 Pro will have a smaller 4000mAh battery. The post also mentioned that the former will have support for 66W fast charging while the pro model will max out at 100W.

The Nova 9 series will have a design similar to that of the Nova 8 series, so we will be seeing a return of the gigantic pill-shaped camera housing. The rest of the specifications are still unknown but we should see more details surface in the weeks leading up to the release of the phones.

A user on Weibo(@鹏鹏君驾到) has leaked an alleged rear design of Honor’s wireless charger that could launch alongside Honor V40. The design shows a hemisphere design with an ‘Honor’ Logo at the bottom. There are a vertical array of slots and two arched cutouts possibly for the heat dissipation grille and rubber bush respectively.

There is a dot above the design and it could be an LED indicator. The rear of the design also has specifications. Accordingly, it is registered under Honor Terminal Co Ltd.,(English Translated). Interestingly, the specs have the name ‘Vertical Wireless Charger’ with a max output of 45W. The charger supports a USB-C port and draws input in the range of 5V-20V at 6A(max).

Further, the user says(via ITHome) that this charger will support the 45W which should also be the designation of the upcoming Honor V40. If we call, a recent report suggests that Honor V40 will have charging support(HW-110600C0x) of up to 66W. The rated speed configs are 5V at 2A, 10V at 4A, and 11V at 6A out of which the 10V at 4A(40W) could be the wireless charging designation.

In any case, if this is true, Honor should launch a new Wireless charger alongside the Honor V40 in mid-January of 2021. The device with codename(YOK-AN10) has already appeared on China’s MIIT and 3C certifications. Further, a design leak reveals that it sports a dual punch-hole curved display and circular camera layout inspired by a Watch.

The Honor V40 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000+ SoC, 50MP Sony IMX700 RYYB sensor, and more. Either way, Honor hasn’t confirmed anything yet, and hence, let’s wait for more leaks in the coming days.

About a week ago, the spec sheet of the smartphone was leaked along with a render that showed us what the phone will look like. Now, an official poster was released yesterday and it confirms some of these details and also the phone’s design.

The Nova 8 SE will have a 6.53-inch FHD+ OLED display with a waterdrop notch. The image of the phone show it will come in blue and gradient white color variants and the rear will have four cameras arranged in a protruding squircle.

The main sensor on the back of the phone is a 64MP camera according to the info on the poster while leaks have revealed that it is paired with an 8MP ultrawide angle camera and two 2MP sensors.

Another key info the poster reveals is that the phone will support 66W fast wired charging just like the Mate 40 Pro. This means the Nova 8 SE will charge faster than the standard Mate 40 which supports 40W fast wired charging. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The poster also states that pre-sale for the Nova 8 SE will begin in three days’ time which means interested buyers will be able to pre-order a unit starting on Thursday, November 5.

Huawei is yet to officially announce a launch date for the phone but it should not be too far from the pre-sale date.
