Acer has recently released a new mobile phone aimed at the middle to lower-end market. The  phone is the Acer Liquid E2 which is the successor of Liquid E1. And this phone is the first quad-core smartphone from Acer.

Acer processors do not provide what information they use on this phone. Additionally, this phone is also available with dual SIM card option.

This phone uses packed with 4.5 inch QHD display. There is an 8megapixel rear-facing camera with zero shutter lag feature, coupled with a 2 megapixel front-facing camera. Other features, the phone is equipped with HSPA+ 42Mbps connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

There is no information about the Android version that will be used on this phone. But the Acer announced that they would provide this phone in several countries in Europe with a fairly cheap price, ie 229 euros or about $280 USD price tag.
