Acer Introduces Swift X 14 AI and Swift X 14 Laptops with RTX 5070 GPUs and OLED Displays

At the recent COMPUTEX 2025 event, Acer has launched the Swift X lineup of laptops, including Acer Swift X 14 AI and the Swift X 14. Both models are built for creators and professionals who need reliable performance, good graphics, and accurate visuals in a lightweight design.

Acer Swift X 14 AI

Swift X 14 AI: AMD Ryzen with AI Acceleration

The Swift X 14 AI (model SFX14-61G) runs on up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor with a built-in Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that delivers up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. It includes the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU based on NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture. The laptop supports NVIDIA Studio Drivers, DLSS 4, and NVIDIA NIM Microservices, making it suitable for creative work like video editing, rendering, and AI development.

Acer Swift X 14 AI

It features a 14.5-inch OLED touchscreen with a 2880 x 1800 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The screen is Calman-verified, VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 certified, and protected by smudge-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass.

This model supports up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. It has a 1080p IR webcam, dual microphones, and supports facial recognition. Additional security includes a fingerprint reader and Microsoft Pluton. The device includes DTS:X Ultra speakers, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, two USB-C (USB4), two USB-A, HDMI 2.1, a MicroSD card reader, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The 76 Wh battery supports up to 11 hours of video playback. The laptop weighs 1.57 kg and has an aluminum chassis in Titanium Gray.

Swift X 14: Intel Core Ultra for Multitasking

The Swift X 14 (model SFX14-73G) is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 285H, with Intel AI Boost capable of up to 13 TOPS. It uses the same NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPU and the same 14.5-inch 3K OLED touchscreen as the AMD version, with identical display specifications.

Acer Swift X 14

It supports up to 32 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD, with the added option of dual SSD slots. It also has a 1080p IR webcam, dual microphones, DTS:X Ultra audio, and the same port configuration. The battery capacity remains 76 Wh but offers up to 16 hours of video playback. This version supports Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. It weighs 1.58 kg and features the same aluminum build and color as the AMD model.

Shared Features and Build

Both laptops include a backlit keyboard, a large haptic touchpad with an activity indicator, and a 180-degree hinge. They support MPP 2.5 stylus input and feature Acer’s AI tools like Copilot, PurifiedVoice 2.0, PurifiedView 2.0, User Sensing, and Windows Studio Effects.

Pricing & availability

Both models will be available in EMEA starting July 2025, with prices starting at EUR 1,799. Final configurations and availability may vary by region.

At COMPUTEX 2025, Acer unveiled the gaming-oriented Predator Triton 14 AI and Predator Helios Neo 14 AI laptops, alongside the new Swift X series laptops and a range of new monitors across its Predator, Nitro, and ProCreator lines.

Acer Swift X 16 with 3.2K OLED display and AMD 7040-series processor goes official

Acer has refreshed a few of its laptops in the market, and one of them is the Acer Swift X 16. The refreshed device comes with powerful specifications and a larger trackpad.

The device also comes powered by the new AMD 7040-series processors and for those looking for a powerful laptop can add NVIDIA 30 or 40-series graphics card.

As for the design-related changes, the trackpad on the aluminum chassis laptop is now 33 percent larger compared to its predecessor. Acer adds that the airflow on the device has also improved by 36 percent compared to the older model.

Coming to the specifications, the new Acer Swift X 16 features a 16-inch WQXGA IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and offers a peak brightness of 500 nits. There’s also an option to opt for a WQXGA+ OLED screen with a 3200 x 2000 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.

Under the hood, the device comes powered by the new AMD Ryzen processor, from Ryzen 5 7535HS to Ryzen 9 7940H. It packs 16GB of RAM and three options for storage — 512GB, 1TB, or 2TB. As noted above, there’s also an option to add NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 or RTX 4050 GPU.

It also comes with two USB-A ports and two USB-C ports, one of which can be used to charge the laptop. There’s also an HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card reader. The device is powered by a 76Wh battery which is claimed to offer a battery life of up to 10 hours on a single charge.

The Acer Swift X 16 will have a starting price of $1,250 for the base model and will be available for purchase in the North American market from July this year.

Acer launches new Swift 3, Swift 5, and Swift X laptops in India

Acer has just announced a range of new Swift series laptops in the Indian market. These new models feature capable hardware that is paired with stylish design that seeks to strike a balance between work and entertainment. So let’s have a look.

Acer Swift 3

The Swift 3 model from the Taiwanese tech giant is built as a “pick up and go” product that promises to offer powerful performance with a lightweight shell. Under the hood, the notebook will be powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core processor that will help make it capable enough for multitasking and productivity. This CPU is paired with 512GB of SSD storage that can be further expanded via M.2 slots. With a thickness of just 15.95mm, one of the laptop’s highlighting aspects is its size and weight. It weighs just 1.25 kilograms, which means that the laptop is quite portable.

It also claims a 10.5 hours of battery life that also supports fast charging technology, with just 30 minutes of charging offering 4 hours of power. On the front, it sports a 14 inch LCD panel that is offered in both a FHD and QHD resolution. This display has a 86 percent screen to body ratio and has 100 percent sRGB color gamut support, along with Acer’s BlueLightShield technology. Other features include AI noise reduction, DTS audio, Thunderbolt 3 port, WiFi 6E, and backlit keyboards.

Acer Swift 5

While the Swift 3 was built with just portability in mind, the Swift 5 is meant to offer more robust performance alongside a lightweight design. It features a premium aerospace grade aluminum chassis that has a maximum thickness of 14.95mm and weighs just 1.2 kilograms. Under the hood, it features 12th Gen Intel Core processors as well but its display is one of its major highlighting features. It sports a 14 inch WQXGA touchscreen display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a high 92.22 percent screen to body ratio.

This is perfect for consuming multimedia like videos and movies as well as a great viewing experience when gaming. The laptop also offers 10 hours of battery life and the same fast charging technology similar to the Swift 3. Other features include, Acer TwinAir Performance mode that boosts system performance by up to 47 percent. Furthermore, it features an FHD camera, AI Noise Reduction on its dual stereo speakers, WiFi 6E, and a Thunderbolt 4.

Acer Swift X

The Acer Swift X is the top end model within the latest Swift series of laptops. Unlike the other two models, the Swift X is the most powerful notebook out of the three laptops that were just announced. Under the hood, it is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors that will be paired with a discrete Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. This is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and dual SSD slots that support up to 2TB of storage.

In other words, this laptop is capable enough for creativity based workloads and even gaming. On the front, the Swift X sports a 16.1 inch display that has a Full HD resolution. It also offers Acer ExaColor, which fine tunes colour temperature and contrast. Despite having such robust hardware, it weighs just 1.39 kilograms. Additionally, it also promises to offer 11 hours of battery life as well. Other notable features includes, Windows Hello fingerprint login, FHD camera with the Acer TNR technology, and more.

Pricing and Availability

As of right now, all three notebook models are currently available on the company’s official website in India. Talking about the Swift 3 model first, its price tag starts from 74,999 INR in the region and it also comes in three different color options. On the other hand, the Swift 5 starts from 74,990 INR while the top end Swift X model is priced at 94,999 INR for its base model.

Acer announces new Swift X powered by Intel’s 12th generation processor and Arc GPU

Many new and updated laptops have been announced at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show 2022, and joining the bandwagon is Acer, which has announced the updated lineup of its Swift X ultraportable laptops.

There are two Acer Swift X models, one featuring a 14-inch display and another with a 16-inch display. However, both the devices come powered by Intel’s new 12th generation processors and one of them packs Intel Arc GPU.

The 14-inch Acer Swift X features a screen resolution of 2240 x 1400 pixels while the 16-inch model comes with up to 2560 x 1600 pixels screen resolution. Both the models come with support for a 16:10 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, the devices come powered by a new 12th-generation Intel Core processor paired with the new Arc graphics processor from Intel. That is paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 2TB SSD storage.

The 14-inch model is available with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU or integrated graphics. Both the models run the Windows 11 operating system out-of-the-box.

They come with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a fingerprint reader. The laptops are lightweight too as the company says the 14-inch model weighs 3.09 lbs, while the 16-inch model weighs 3.95 lbs.

As of now, Acer hasn’t announced pricing or availability for the new Swift X laptops, so we don’t know exactly when or at what cost you’ll be able to get your hands on them. However, the devices are expected to be available in the UK by the end of February or the start of March.

Acer on Wednesday launched six new laptops in the Indian market. It includes Acer Swift 3, Acer Swift X, Aspire 3, Aspire 5, Spin 3, and Spin 5. The laptops range from ₹55,999(~$749) to ₹99,999(~$1,337) and the major highlight of the laptops is the Windows 11 operating system.

Acer Swift 3 & Acer Swift X

Acer Swift 3 comes with a 14-inch IPS display with a Full-HD(1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Acer claims that it has an 85% screen-to-body ratio and has up to 300 nits of brightness. It has two models – an 11th gen Intel chipset or an AMD Ryzen 5000U processor. It comes with a battery that has 16 hours of battery backup with support for fast charging technology.

Acer Swift X comes with the same 14-inch FHD IPS panel. The screen supports 100% sRGB and has AMD’s Ryzen 5 5600U processor under the hood. It comes with a 4GB Nvidia RTX 3050 dedicated GPU and has 16GB of RAM. The laptop has a 59-Wh battery with support for fast charging.

The Swift 3 weighs 1.19Kg and starts at ₹62,999(~$868). The Swift X is priced at ₹86,999(~$1,161). Both laptops are already available from Acer’s e-store and other online and offline stores across India.

Acer Aspire 3 & Acer Aspire 5

Acer Aspire 3 comes with a 15.6-inch TFT display, whereas, the Aspire 5 has a 14-inch IPS panel. Both displays have Full-HD resolution and are powered by 11th gen Intel Core i5-11357 processor. There’s 8GB of RAM and 1TB of M.2 PCIe SSD storage. The laptops come with support for up to 1TB of HHD storage.

The Acer Aspire 3 starts at ₹55,999(~$749) and the Aspire 5 is priced at ₹57,999(~$570). The laptops can be purchased from Amazon, Flipkart, and even offline stores like Croma, Vijay Sales, and Reliance Digital.

Acer Spin 3 & Acer Spin 5

Acer Spin series is a convertible laptop series where the laptops can be used as a 2-in-1 machine. The Acer Spin 3 sports a 13.1-inch touchscreen display and is powered by the 11th gen Intel Core processor. The Spin 5, on the other hand, has 11th gen Intel Core i7 processor. The laptops are claimed to have up to 15 hours of battery life and support for fast charging support.

The Acer Spin 3 starts at ₹74,999(~$737) and the Spin 5 is priced at ₹99,999(~$1,337). Just like other Acer laptops, the Spin series will be available in both online and offline stores.
