Hong Kong has once again opened its doors to the world of cutting-edge technology with the 45th Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) and the 28th electronicAsia. Held at the iconic Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the events run until 16 October, welcoming thousands of tech enthusiasts, innovators, and buyers from across the globe.

A Global Gathering of Innovators

With over 3,200 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, the fair has become a magnet for companies eager to showcase their latest breakthroughs. Delegations from regions including China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Australia, the US, France, Germany, and the UK are actively participating. More than 120 buyer missions from 61 nations highlight the fair’s role as a hub for international business connections.

Robots, Exoskeletons, and Beyond

One of the standout attractions this year is the robotics zone, where humanoids, quadruped robots, and wearable exoskeletons are on full display. Leading firms are demonstrating live, interactive technologies, while innovators like Hangzhou-based Ascentiz have launched a modular exoskeleton designed to assist people with mobility challenges. Visitors can explore how robotics is moving from research labs into real-world applications.

Startups and Immersive Experiences

The fair also highlights emerging brands through zones like RISE Avenue and Adventure Hub. Here, AI-driven interactive gaming, VR and AR experiences, and smart home devices demonstrate how technology is reshaping entertainment and everyday life. The Hong Kong Tech Showcase and Startup Zone provide a platform for local and early-stage companies to connect with global buyers and investors.

Technology for All Ages

A special focus on the silver economy brings forward solutions aimed at older adults. Exhibits include GPS-enabled walking aids, smart pill dispensers, and wearable health monitors, all labeled under “Smart Ageing Products” to help visitors navigate this rapidly growing sector.

Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration

In addition to exhibitions, seminars, and forums offer insights into robotics, AI applications, and energy storage. The 10th Symposium on Innovation & Technology explores robotics in logistics, ocean exploration, and industrial automation, reflecting the fair’s commitment to connecting ideas with practical impact.

Blending live demonstrations with digital matchmaking via the Click2Match platform, the fairs reinforce Hong Kong’s position as a dynamic hub for global technology innovation.

The company’s CEO has just recently participated in an upcoming conference regarding new technologies with one of the highlighting topics being about the AI technologies that will arrive with the Magic 3 series.

During the conference , Zhao Ming, CEO of the Chinese smartphone maker, will work with former CCTV host Zhang Quanling and Chess Grandmaster Nie Weiping to discuss the future of AI and the various benefits it can offer the world. So far, the brand has already teased its Magic series of flagship handsets a couple of times in the past few days. And now, the most recent hints at the new artificial intelligence tech that will be featured in the new lineup.

But there’s more to come! Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor, is all set to announce another revolutionary feature next week.

Earlier today, Honor’s weibo released a teaser celebrating the first lunar landing (July 20, 1969), and further added that there would be something revolutionary this Monday with the words “1 second faster than Humans”. To be honest, this teaser was quite unclear and many were left wondering what to expect from the company’s new announcement on Monday.

However, soon after this teaser, Honor’s President, George Zhao, forwarded this weibo post adding a few comments. He said that he couldn’t reveal a lot about the upcoming announcement but can only say that it is yet another major breakthrough by the company, this time in the field of AI.

Combining the two statements, first from the official Honor weibo page and the second from Mr. Zhao, we can say that it has something to do with AI being smarter and faster on smartphones. In this age, where AI has penetrated in each and every part of a smartphone including camera and UI, a revolutionary boost in this technology could have very notable advantages. Unfortunately, we don’t have much details as to what kind of improvement we’ll see but it looks as if the company could have made some significant progress in its machine learning technology.

We are excited to hear more about this breakthrough technology. If its like GPU Turbo, it could be available to a lot of existing Honor and Huawei smartphones too. Let’s wait for more details.

But one smartphone that has failed to leave our presence is the LeEco flagship with a weird-looking dual rear camera. This device which has been the subject of series of leaks is touted to be of a flagship stock and would even feature AI technology.

There is a new information now, call it rumour if you like, that the LeEco flagship would be launched this April, specifically on April 11. The rumour emanated from a Weibo user who also revealed that the flagship device would use a dual-lens camera setup which he predicts would be the flagship standard going forward despite the Galaxy S8 not having one. We don’t know the other details of the flagship but there is a rumor that it would sport dual cameras at the front as well as at the rear. Previously we were expecting a Snapdragon 821-powered flagship but we don’t know if that would change since there is a new Sheriff in town now.

Read Also: Camera Screenshot of LeEco Flagship With Dual Cameras Leaked!

Another revelation by the Weibo tipster is that the LeEco smartphone would come with artificial intelligence (AI), making it a true flagship. Incase you are at a loss here, the AI technology will likely function as a voice assistant similar to Samsung’s Bixby. And if indeed the smartphone comes with an AI technology, that would make it the first LeEco smartphone to feature such.

April 11 is just two weeks away, while it is unlikely that LeEco will launch a smartphone on that day, we’ll keep our fingers crossed and hope they do.
