Recently, Ainol released their newest phone tablet, a device with the model number, “AX2 Quad-core.” Based on the name, we know that it is an upgraded edition of the AX2 and that its MT8312 chipset was replaced with the quad-core MT8382.

The biggest change in the AX2 is its processor. Ainol retained its other specifications. It still has 512RAM and 8GB internal memory space, a .3mp camera which is really nothing more but an ornament. It also sports a 7-inch IPS display screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 and runs on a 2500mAh battery. Its operating system is the Android 4.22 and it supports WCDMA/GSM dual-SIM.

The Ainol AX2 quad-core edition has already appeared in official online stores not too long ago and costs 399 RMB like the dual-core edition which should come out soon.

Ainol is the one of tablet device that came from Chiese manufacturer, this tablet is popular enought in Chinese market (and for some Asian market), the Ainol has several new tablet lineup such as Ainol BW1, AX1  and now we have a newer model the Aino AX3.

Interestingly this tablet is offers for only 599 yuan or around $99 USD priuce tag per unit.

The tablet Ainol Novo 7 are among the most popular tablet on the market, but certainly among the cheapest tablet but very popular in Europe, this tablet distributed by a Chinese company.

After the recent announcements of Novo 7 Aurora II and Elf II, Tornado, Mars and Flame, Ainol continues to expand its range of Android tablet by introducing a new version, called Ainol Novo 7 Crystal.

The Novo 7 Crystal It’s the first device pre-installed with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating systems (and not Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as the rest of the series), powered by Amlogic 8726-M6 processor  (based on Cortex A9 1.5GHz CPU and Mali 400 GPU), sports with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.

Ainol Novo 7 Crystal features a 7-inch display, IPS capacitive screen with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. While the connectivity could be called a classic module with 802.11n WiFi, microSD card slot, miniUSB port, miniHDMI, audio jack and a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3700 mAh. There is also front-facing and rear camera, has GPS, Bluetooth and integrated 3G modem. Novo 7 Crystal weighs just 335 grams and has dimensions of 186 x 126 x 10 mm.

Analyzing the technical details, we note a certain similarity with Novo 7 Elf II, except for the presence of an IPS display and the size and weight vary slightly. This means that the two are closely related and differ only in the chassis and the operating system version. Ainol Novo 7 Crystal will be available from September 28th, 2012.

Chinese tablet manufacturer Ainol is stepping up from its ICS-running Novo 7 to the Ainol Novo 7 Crystal, a new dual-core 1.5GHz model running Android Jelly Bean for $139. Below the hood is an Amlogic 8726-M6 Cortex A9 processor, a Mali 400 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The 7-inch touchscreen display sports a 1,024 x 600 resolution, and Ainol chose an IPS panel for wide viewing angles — that’s not exactly common for a tab in this price range. The whole package weighs 0.72 pounds (328 grams) and measures 0.4 inches (11.2mm) thick, and the tablet will be available in black and white.The Novo 7 Crystal will be WiFi-only (802.11n), though there’s room for a 3G modem on board, and connections include a microSD card slot, mini-USB port and mini-HDMI.
