In addition to introducing the Alcatel OneTouch Pop Fit that packs with a smaller screen, Alcatel is also introduing their new smartphone that has 5 inch screen size. That’s the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 and the OnetTouch Idol 2 Mini that has 4.5 inch screen size.

Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 and OneTouch Idol 2 Mini is comes with 3G options as well as an “S”-branded LTE variant.

The OneTouch Idol 2 Mini will has 8.5mm body thickness, and has qHD display that running on Android 4.3 but upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. This phone is powered by quad-core 1.2GHz processor, NFC features, coupled with 8 megapixel rear facing camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera.

This phone will come first on the market on early March and the 3G version will offers with $232 USD price while the LTE version will offers with $287 USD price tag. The former choice also offers a plastic build, while the higher-speed handset has been bestowed with a metal back and plastic at the top and bottom for attenuation. Each model comes in your choice of four colors, although the Idol S Mini includes a chocolate hue instead of hot pink.

And the other model that has larger screen size is the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 that ready to market on April or May, the phone will offers with $274 USD for 3G version and the LTE version is offers with $342 USD, those phone will has 7.3mm body thickness and has HD Audio.

The phone is running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system but upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Thephone comes with 720p IPS display, powered by quad-core 1.2Ghz processor, NFC connectivity and coupled with 8 megapixel rear facing camera and 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. Both phone is ready to compete in mid-range market.
