Amazfit has just launched a brand new wearable product in the Indian market. The gadget in question is the new Amazfit GTR Mini that features some notable specs and features, so let’s have a look.

The new GTR Mini arrives as the latest mid range smartwatch model from the company. It sports a compact design with a circular 1.28 inch AMOLED display panel that has an HD resolution and curved glass protection. Furthermore, there is also a circular dial on the right side to help with navigating through the menu and other controls. But despite being a mid range model, the new smartwatch features a stainless steel frame, which adds to its premium feel.

The Amazfit GTR Mini offers up to 20 days of total battery life on a single full charge on battery saving mode. With regular use, the smartwatch’s battery life can last for up to 14 days. This model comes with support for over 120 sports modes includes swimming, cycling, walking, and more. It also features various health related features like heart rate monitoring, stress level mapping, SpO2 blood oxygen tracking, and more.

The company has just announced the GTR Mini in India and it supports both Android and iOS devices. It will be available for purchase on Amazon India for a price tag of 10,999 INR (roughly 133 US Dollars). The smartwatch will also be offered in multiple color variants, namely Midnight Black, Misty Pink and Ocean Blue.

As mentioned, the Amazfit GTR Mini brings a round dial. It has a 1.28-in (33 mm) HD AMOLED display with curved glass protection. The wearable is designed to be comfortable enough to wear all day long. It packs a 280 mAh lithium polymer battery that is claimed to last up to 20 days on a single charge in battery saver mode or 14 days with normal use.

According to the company, the Amazfit GTR Mini comes with its patented GPS technology, which will allow the wearable to receive twice as many signals as a standard model while supporting five satellite positioning systems. As you would expect, the smartwatch comes with over 120 sports modes, including intelligent detection of seven popular sports. It packs regular Health monitoring tools including heart rate and blood oxygen sensors. Additionally, the wearable will let you track your sleep and stress levels.

Users will be able to download a number of third-party applications with the help of the Zepp app. The Amazfit GTR Mini smartwatch can be purchased in the US for $119.99 and for £129 in the UK. Shoppers in Europe will be able to get the wearable for €129.90. It will be offered in Midnight Black and Ocean Blue with a silvery watch body or Misty Pink with a rose gold frame.

Amazfit GTR Mini Renders and Key Specifications Surface Online

Amazfit only offers a Mini version of the GTS. However, now, the brand is planning to launch the GTR in a Mini version as well. Publication GSMArena citing an anonymous tipster has shared images of the smartwatch giving us a first look. Additionally, we also get to see the retail box along with key specifications of the upcoming offering.

The Amazfit GTR Mini as the name suggests will be a toned-down version of the premium GTR. The ‘R’ in GTR stands for round and hence the upcoming offering is a circular smartwatch. The device bears a model number A2174 and codename ‘Leiden’.

As per the report and the retail image, the Amazfit GTR Mini will feature a 1.28-inch 2.5D AMOLED display. It is seen with a stainless steel unibody and a single button on the right side. The device will have a buckle watch strap and it will come in Navy Blue, Pink, and Black colours.

In terms of fitness, the Amazfit GTR Mini will be equipped with a 24-hour heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, and stress monitor. It will pack support for tracking more than 120 sports modes along with automatic recognition. The upcoming smartwatch is tipped to be backed by a 500mAh battery unit and will run on Zepp OS out of the box.

The Amazfit GTR Mini will come with Bluetooth 5.1 LE and compatible with Android 7.0 and iOS 12 or above. The smartwatch will feature GNSS receiver with support for GPS, QZSS, BEIDOU, GALILEO and standards.
