Now, it has been officially launched in the United States.</p>
<p>The cloud gaming service has formally launched in the mainland US and is available for users of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android">Android</a>, iOS, Chrome OS, macOS, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/windows">Windows</a>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-446681 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna.png?x44794" alt="Amazon Luna Cloud Gaming" width="1500" height="800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna.png 1500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna-300x160.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna-768x410.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna-1024x546.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna-696x371.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna-1068x570.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna-788x420.png 788w" sizes="(max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px" /></p>
<p>The Luna+ service, which is a core offering from the company, is priced at $10 per month and gives access to more than 100 <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/games">games</a>. There are also kid-friendly Family Channel and Ubisoft+ Channels costing $6 and $18 per month respectively.</p>
<p>However, those who subscribe to the service in the month of March will get the Luna+ service for a discounted price of $6 per month and the Family channel for $3 a month. Those who are already subscribed to the service will have their current pricing locked.</p>
<p>Unlike other cloud gaming services like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/google-stadia">Google Stadia</a> where users can purchase individual games for playing, the Amazon Luna works differently as users have to subscribe to channels that come with their own bundles of games.</p>
<p>Apart from the Luna+ and Ubisoft+ channels, the company is also offering Prime Gaming Channel that offers Amazon Prime members a selection of free games to play. There&#8217;s also a Retro Channel with classic games. The company also has a Jackbox Games Channel and is debuting a new “Luna Couch” feature that lets other people join in playing even if they don’t subscribe to Luna themselves. Both the Retro Channel and Jackbox Games Channel have been priced at $4.99 per month.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/amazon">Amazon</a> is also debuting a new feature for Luna in which it is leveraging Twitch by adding native support for one-click broadcasting. Just by a simple press of a button on Luna, users can instantly live stream the game with a camera feed overlay.</p>

This means that the devices in the lineup can access and play games on Amazon Luna.</p>
<p>The support is now available for all three smartphones &#8212; Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. These phones already had access to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/stadia">Google&#8217;s Stadia</a>, Microsoft&#8217;s Project xCloud, and Nvidia&#8217;s GeForce Now cloud gaming services.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-360639 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/amazon-luna.png?x44794" alt="Amazon Luna" width="739" height="491" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/amazon-luna.png 739w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/amazon-luna-300x199.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/amazon-luna-696x462.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/amazon-luna-632x420.png 632w" sizes="(max-width: 739px) 100vw, 739px" /></p>
<p>Do note that its predecessor, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung">Samsung</a> Galaxy S20 series already supports Amazon Luna. Making the announcement, Amazon Luna tweeted and said that &#8220;<em><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">Amazon Luna is now compatible with even more Android devices from </span><span class="r-18u37iz">Samsung </span>including the S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra phone.</em>”</p>
<p>For those who are unaware, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/amazon">Amazon</a> Luna is a game streaming service, and to play games, the user just needs a stable internet connection, a compatible game controller, and a device that supports the service.</p>
<p>Currently, the game streaming is limited to 1080p at 60fps but the company will soon add support for 4K games for select titles. Notably, Amazon’s cloud gaming service is only available in the United States.</p>
<p>At launch, it was accessible on Fire TV, PC, Mac, and via its own web app on iOS. A few months ago, the service was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/16/amazon-opens-up-its-luna-cloud-gaming-service-to-android-devices/">released for Android users</a> and is similar to the iOS version where users can directly access the cloud gaming services via the Chrome web browser without the need to install a dedicated app.</p>
