Meizu are not lagging behind and delaying with any updates nowadays. Keeping up with this, they have recently launched Flyme ROM update based on android 4.4 (KitKat) for its Meizu MX3.

Flyme 3.6.2a is the second in the series of 4.4 based update and is ready for download now. It is to be released on the flagship Samsung Exynos Octacore smartphone. With alteration made in the music, video, browser, contacts and Bluetooth apps, this update is merely a bug fix.

Even though I have not yet tried the android 4.4, it is claimed by the critics and users to have a greatly improved battery life and performance.

Apart from this, the other highlight by Meizu is they are close to breaking a 1 billion downloads record from the app store.

Last year, Huawei has said that it would bring Android 4.4 update for Huaweo Ascend P6, and they really work for this busy.

There are many users expressed on their Ascend P6 since those phone has received Android 4.4 update, but given figure from their point of view, the system is based on Android 4.4.2 EMUI2.0.

From Huawei forums look, this update seems to be confined only to some users, but there are sources claimed that the Ascend P6 Unicom user will be come this month, mobile users will receive the latest system update.

In addition, sources also revealed, P6S, Mate 2 will be update to Android  4.4.2 update this month.
