One of the good news is that Google&#8217;s first mobile OS, Android 2.2 Froyo launched in May 2010 is almost extinct, as it is not listed on the chart. What this means is that the maiden Google OS is presently installed in less than 0.1% of devices globally.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/12/19/xiaomi-miui-8-android-7-0-nougat-close-beta-roll-begins/android-7-0-nougat/" rel="attachment wp-att-111921"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-111921" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Android-7.0-Nougat.jpg?x44794" alt="android-7-0-nougat" width="1024" height="569" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Android-7.0-Nougat.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Android-7.0-Nougat-300x167.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Android-7.0-Nougat-768x427.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></a></p>
<p>Apparently, some persons are still stuck in the past as Google&#8217;s earlier second and third gen operating system, Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich still posted 1.0% and 1.1% in the distribution chart. The figures are declining, though, as they were both at 1.2% in December.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/android-chart/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-114830" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/android-chart.jpg?x44794" alt="Android" width="728" height="404" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/android-chart.jpg 728w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/android-chart-300x166.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 728px) 100vw, 728px" /></a></p>

<p>Amdroid 5.1 Lolipop still tops the chart with a total of 33.3% on the distribution chart, this is closely followed by Android Marshmallow with 29.6%. Android KitKat comes in at the third position with 22.6%, while Android Jelly Bean completes the top 4 with 11.6%. Google&#8217;s latest  mobile OS, Android 7.0 Nougat is still at its lowest ebb, with a 0.7% distribution figure four months after it was released. That figure is expected to spike this year anyway, as more and more Android smartphones adopt or get upgrades to Android Nougat.</p>

The company launched the best-selling selfie-focused R9 earlier this year and even made a special <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/06/03/oppo-r9-fc-barcelona-edition-unboxing-pictures/">FC Barcelona Edition</a>. It seems they will be launching another camera-centric phone soon judging from the specs of a phone that showed up at TENAA for its certification.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">This new device is the OPPO A59s. It shares design similarities to other OPPO phones which have been criticised for aping the iPhone 6s.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-97696 size-full" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Oppo-A59s-2.jpg?x44794" alt="OPPO A59s" width="1200" height="816" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Oppo-A59s-2.jpg 1200w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Oppo-A59s-2-300x204.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Oppo-A59s-2-768x522.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Oppo-A59s-2-1024x696.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The phone is made out of metal, and  has the camera sensor and LED flash at the top left corner just before the upper antenna line. There is the OPPO brand name sitting a few millimetres from the middle, a little text, and the lower antenna line. Nothing we have not seen before.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-97697 size-full" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/OPPO-A59s-TENAA_4.jpg?x44794" alt="OPPO A59s-tenaa_4" width="480" height="640" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/OPPO-A59s-TENAA_4.jpg 480w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/OPPO-A59s-TENAA_4-225x300.jpg 225w" sizes="(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px" /> <img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-97695 size-full" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/OPPO-A59s-TENAA_3.jpg?x44794" alt="OPPO A59s" width="480" height="640" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/OPPO-A59s-TENAA_3.jpg 480w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/OPPO-A59s-TENAA_3-225x300.jpg 225w" sizes="(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The OPPO A59s is equipped with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, a 16MP front-facing camera, and a 13MP rear camera. OPPO says there is a memory card slot for storage expansion, a 2980mAh battery, and a 64-bit 8-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz (probably the MT6750).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The phone will weigh 160 grams and will have a thickness of 7.38 mm. The phone&#8217;s fingerprint scanner will definitely be placed in front, doubling as a home button.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><span style="color: #ff0000">READ MORE:</span> <span style="color: #3366ff"><a style="color: #3366ff" href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/09/13/pixel-xl-may-googles-expensive-phone/">Pixel XL May be Google&#8217;s Most Expensive Phone</a></span><span id="more-97683"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Everything seems to be alright until you see that the OPPO A59s is running Android 5.1 Lollipop. Lollipop is 2 years old already and OPPO is still churning out a phone with the old OS. We hope this part of the specs changes before the official launch.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">There&#8217;s no news yet on the release date and selling price.</p>

Real images have leaked online giving us a glimpse of what the phone really looks like and confirming the specs.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-85262" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Meizu-3.jpg?x44794" alt="Meizu 3" width="338" height="600" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Meizu-3.jpg 338w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Meizu-3-169x300.jpg 169w" sizes="(max-width: 338px) 100vw, 338px" /></p>
<p>Meizu has given the M3S the all-metal unibody form but have made no attempt to cover the antenna lines which are clearly visible. Dimensions for the phone are 141.9 x 69.9 x 8.35 (mm).</p>

<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Meizu-2.jpg?x44794'><img width="225" height="300" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Meizu-2-225x300.jpg?x44794" class="attachment-medium size-medium" alt="" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Meizu-2-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Meizu-2.jpg 480w" sizes="(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px" /></a>
<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Meizu.jpg?x44794'><img width="225" height="300" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Meizu-225x300.jpg?x44794" class="attachment-medium size-medium" alt="" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Meizu-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Meizu.jpg 480w" sizes="(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px" /></a>

Thanks to TENAA, we also know some of the specs of the phone such as the use of a 1.5GHz octa-core processor. This is most likely the MTK6750 which supports VoLTE and has CDMA and CAT-6 LTE.</p>
<p>The phone will have two RAM configurations: 2GB and 3GB; and will run Android Lollipop 5.1.  The Meizu M3S will also feature SD card support of up to 128GB, have a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 3000mAh battery.</p>

<p><a href="http://oukitel.cc">Oukitel</a> have today sent over a Hands on video of the Oukitel K6000 pro showing off some menus on of the phone.</p>
<p>Checking out the video it would appear that the Oukitel K6000 Pro&#8217;s body and styling are similar to the original K6000, this time Oukitel have included a rear mounted finger print scanner.</p>
<p>Like the original K6000 the handset in the video does appear to be quite thick and large, possibly down to the small hands of the person using it combined with the fact the K6000 Pro like its younger brother features a 6000mAh battery.</p>
<p>Other notable points that help to set the newer Pro model apart from the original K6000 include the increased screen resoloution which has been bumped up from HD 720p to FHD 1080p, whilst the Quad core Mediatek MT6735 running at 1GHZ found in the original K6000 has also been upgraded to an Octa core Mediatek MT6753 running at 1.3GHZ.</p>
<p>If you like the idea of a phone with battery life that could see 2 or more days between charges but want even more processing power to make use of the onboard 6000mAh battery, a third option will also be made available, the Oukitel K6000 Premium which will come with 2k screen but more impressive will be the Deca core Mediatek MT6797 running at 2.5GHZ.</p>
<p>I am currently testing the original Oukitel K6000, the review for this should be finished in the next couple of days.</p>
<p>If Oukitel can get the rom right on either the Pro or the Premium versions of the K6000 running as smoothly as they have on the original K6000 and keep the battery life half decent this phone should attract a lot of buyers.</p>
<p>Check out the Hands on video of the Oukitel K6000 pro and leave questions or comments below</p>
<p>Regards Shanos</p>
