Aokzoe has launched its next-generation handheld gaming console, the A1X, in China. The A1X blends powerful internals, a high-refresh display, and extensive customization features aimed at gamers who demand top-tier performance from a portable device. The console starts at 5,699 yuan (~$795) and offers AMD’s latest Ryzen 7 8840U or Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 chipsets.

Aokzoe A1X Specifications

The A1X features an 8-inch 1920×1200 LTPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support, and 500 nits brightness. It comes in a native landscape orientation, optimized for wide-format gaming and content consumption. The display also covers 100% sRGB, making it suitable for both gaming and media.

Powering the A1X is a choice between the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U and the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 built on the new Zen 5 architecture, offering up to 12 cores and 24 threads, with integrated Radeon 890M graphics capable of real-time ray tracing. Memory options include 32GB or 64GB LPDDR5X RAM at 7500MHz, paired with up to 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

It sports a 72.7Wh battery with support for bypass charging and includes a 100W GaN fast charger. The cooling system combines a 71-blade fan, three 6mm copper heat pipes, and a vapor chamber layered with PTM7950 phase-change thermal material, ensuring thermal stability under heavy loads.

The console equips dual USB 4.0 ports, one USB-A 3.2 Gen2, a high-speed Oculink port, a microSD 4.0 slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. For controls, it features capacitive joysticks, Hall Effect triggers, a redesigned D-pad, and upgraded ABXY buttons for precision input.

Software-wise, the A1X runs OneXConsole, enabling AI-powered performance tuning, TDP management (4–30W), and RGB lighting customization. The built-in kickstand offers stepless angle adjustment for desktop-style play.

The Aokzoe A1X is now listed for pre-order on JD.com with the following configurations:

Chinese tech company AOKZOE has officially unveiled their latest handheld gaming console, the AOKZOE A2 Ultra, at the Intel Extreme Masters event today. The console is powered by a high-performance Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, but pricing details are yet to be announced.

The handheld weighs 666 grams and has multiple triggers for gaming. Pricing isn’t available yet.

The AOKZOE A2 Ultra features a 7-inch display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution. Users can choose between 32GB or 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM clocked at 7467 MHz for fast performance. Storage is handled by a PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 SSD. A single fan keeps the system cool during intense gaming sessions. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7. The console weighs 666 grams and features Hall effect triggers with 8.5mm of travel for a more responsive gaming experience. The triggers boast built-in RGB lighting effects for a more personalized touch.

The AOKZOE A2 Ultra comes pre-installed with Windows 11 and is powered by a 12600mAh battery, offering up to 3 hours of continuous gaming. For comparison, it’s non-ultra version has an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor, AMD Radeon 780M graphics, and 32GB of RAM for smooth gameplay. Storage options range from 512GB to 2TB, and the 7-inch Full HD display offers vibrant colors. The console stays cool with a liquid cooling system and can be charged quickly with a 65W GaN charger. With Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, and multiple ports, it also offers plenty of connectivity options.

Aokzoe has officially launched A2 handheld console in the Chinese market which is now available to purchase on Tmall. Let’s check out the key specs of this console.

Aokzoe A2 Specifications:

Aokzoe A2 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor, which is built on a 4nm process with “Zen 4” architecture. This processor features 8 cores, 16 threads, and offers a base clock speed of 3.3GHz, going up to a maximum boost clock of 5.1GHz. It also has a 16MB cache. For graphics, it utilizes the AMD Radeon 780M with RDNA 3 architecture, operating at 2.7GHz. For graphics, it utilizes the AMD Radeon 780M with RDNA 3 architecture, operating at 2.7GHz.

In terms of memory and storage, the Aokzoe A2 comes with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM at 7500MHz. Storage options vary, with SSDs available in sizes ranging from 512GB to 2TB. Pricing and Availability

The handheld console comes in three models with varying prices and configurations. The standard model, equipped with 32GB RAM and 512GB storage, is priced at 4999 yuan ($699). The 32GB RAM + 1TB model costs 5399 yuan ($755), while the high-end variant, featuring 32GB RAM and 2TB storage, is available for 5699 yuan ($797).

AOKZOE recently teased the upcoming launch of its A1 Pro and A2 handheld gaming consoles. The A1 Pro’s design has been unveiled by AOKZOE, but the same cannot be said for the A2. Nonetheless, it has been made known that the A2 shall boast a magnificent 7-inch display alongside a top-of-the-line AMD Ryzen 7000 series APU. Now, a new leak has revealed the A2’s design along with some new specs.

New information regarding the AOKZOE A2 has emerged from Nittrx, a YouTube channel. The channel has provided the design of the A2, which will be available in at least two colors and will resemble the ONEXFLY that was announced by One-netbook last year. AOKZOE, closely associated with One-netbook and the ONEXPLAYER brand, has codenamed the gaming device “Unbounded.”

The AOKZOE A2 will come with 800p and 1200p display options, which will provide 100% and 128% sRGB colour space coverages, respectively. Furthermore, the AOKZOE A2 will feature the Radeon 780M, an RDNA 3-architecture iGPU that is based on a 4 nm process and has 12 Compute Units (CUs) and a 3 GHz boost clock speed. This means that the AOKZOE A2 should also be equipped with a Zen 4-based APU, such as the Ryzen 7 7840U.

Unfortunately, there is no information on the release date, pricing, or availability of the AOKZOE A2 at the moment.

AOKZOE A1 Pro & A2 handheld consoles teased, coming soon with Ryzen 7000 chips

The handheld gaming market is becoming increasingly popular with the release of new AMD Ryzen APUs. AOKZOE, a spin-off from One-netbook and ONEXPLAYER, is preparing to launch two new gaming handhelds, the A1 Pro and the A2. The A1 Pro will retain the design of the previous A1 model, which closely resembles the first-generation ONEXPLAYER models, with an 8-inch display. The A2, however, will feature a smaller frame and a 7-inch panel.

Although AOKZOE claims that the A1 Pro will come with “AMD’s flagship 7XXX series processor,” there is currently no information on which processor it will be. It is possible that the Ryzen 7 7735U or Ryzen 7 7736U may be included, but these processors may not offer much of a performance boost over the Ryzen 7 6800U that powers the original AOKZOE A1.

As of now, AOKZOE has not provided any other details about the upcoming gaming handhelds. The company has, however, allowed people to register to test the A1 Pro via an “internal test form.” It remains to be seen how many testers AOKZOE will recruit for this internal test.

While the exact specifications of the A1 Pro and A2 remain unclear, it is exciting to see new companies entering the handheld gaming space and pushing the boundaries of what is possible with these devices.
