The AnTuTu benchmarks of <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Huawei</a> Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro that have surfaced recently indicate that the performance of the Kirin 970 is on par with Snapdragon 835.</p>
<h3>Huawei Mate 10 Pro AnTuTu Benchmarks</h3>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-154301 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Huawei-Mate-10-Pro-AnTuTu.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="275" height="516" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Huawei-Mate-10-Pro-AnTuTu.jpg 275w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Huawei-Mate-10-Pro-AnTuTu-160x300.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 275px) 100vw, 275px" /></p>
<p>The above image seems to show the AnTuTu benchmarks score of a Huawei phone with a model number of BLA-L29. The same model has been spotted with 6 GB of RAM <a href="https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/search?q=BLA-L29" target="_blank" rel="noopener">multiples times on Geekbench</a> over the past week. The BLA-L29 is the Mate 10 Pro and it has recorded an impressive score of 173,757 on AnTuTu.</p>
<p>The Mate 10 Pro has a 6-inch FHD+ OLED screen that offers an aspect ratio of 18:9. It includes 128 GB of storage. It has a 20-megapixel + 12-megapixel Leica certified dual rear cameras and is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Read More: </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/10/16/huawei-mate-10-vs-mate-10-pro-here-are-all-the-differences/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Huawei Mate 10 vs. Mate 10 Pro: How do they Differ?</a></strong></p>
<h3>Huawei Mate 10 AnTuTu Benchmarks</h3>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-154300 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Huawei-Mate-10-AnTuTu.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="290" height="516" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Huawei-Mate-10-AnTuTu.jpg 290w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Huawei-Mate-10-AnTuTu-169x300.jpg 169w" sizes="(max-width: 290px) 100vw, 290px" /></p>
<p>The above image seems to belong to the regular Mate 10 as the <a href="https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/search?q=ALP-AL00" target="_blank" rel="noopener">model number of ALP-AL00</a> has appeared with 4 GB of RAM on the benchmarking site numerous times in the recent past. On AnTuTu, it has managed to score even higher with 176,174 points. Also, the listing shown in the above image seems to be authentic as the <a href="http://www.antutu.com/ranking/rank1.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">official AnTuTu site</a> has the same listing sans the scores of Mate 10.</p>
<p>The Mate 10 has a 5.9-inch LCD screen that supports QHD resolution. It also features the same dual camera system and 4,000mAh battery that is available on the Mate 10 Pro.</p>
<p>Coming to the AnTuTu benchmarks, the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro have managed to list among the top 7 best performing smartphones. The Apple A11 Bionic chipset powered iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 8 are respectively leading AnTuTu benchmarks with respective scores of 212,728 and 205,386. The Snapdragon 835 powered OnePlus 5 and ZTE Nubia Z17 that have respectively scored 181,410 and 177,770 are ranking ahead of Mate 10.</p>
<p>The Mate 10 Pro is not present in the above list, but its score of 173,757 should land it behind HTC U11 that has a score of 175,970. The Mate 10 and 10 Pro are also ahead of SD 835 powered Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ on AnTuTu</p>
<p>The above ranking shows that the Kirin 970 powered Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro are scoring similar benchmark scores as Snapdragon 835 on AnTuTu. This indicates that Huawei has managed to create a beasty chipset that can rival with Snapdragon 835.</p>

As the rumor mill had predicted, the iPhone X comes with a full screen display with a u-shaped notch to house all the necessary sensors. Here is all that you need to know on its specs, features and pricing.</p>
<h3>Design and Display</h3>
<p>A decade ago, Apple introduced its first iPhone that came with a bigger screen and plenty of exciting features that were not found on competitor phones. The design of the first iPhone inspired other smartphone OEMs to launch big screen phones. The iPhone X with its refreshed design is expected to inspire rival brands to launch similar phones in the near future.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-148969 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Apple-iPhone-X.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="1104" height="552" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Apple-iPhone-X.jpg 1104w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Apple-iPhone-X-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Apple-iPhone-X-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Apple-iPhone-X-1024x512.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1104px) 100vw, 1104px" /></p>
<p>The iPhone X has a glass and metal combination body that was first seen on iPhone 4 from 2010. The glass is reinforced with internal and copper structure which makes it the strongest glass ever used on a smartphone. The handset measures 143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm and its weight is 174 grams. With IP68 certification, the iPhone X’s body is resistant to dust and water. It comes in two colors like Silver and Space Gray.</p>
<p>The display is the USP of the iPhone X as it features a 5.8-inch OLED screen that supports a resolution of 1,125 x 2,436 pixels with a pixel density of 458 ppi. The screen of the iPhone X is called Super Retina Display by Apple.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-148962 alignnone" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/iphone-X.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="1000" height="768" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/iphone-X.jpg 1000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/iphone-X-300x230.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/iphone-X-768x590.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></p>
<p>It offers a screen-to-body ratio of 81.23 percent and has super-slim bezels around the screen. The topside of the screen has a notch that houses the selfie camera and Face ID sensor. The True Tone display can automatically adjust the screen’s color by scanning the ambient conditions. It also supports Dolby Vision, HDR 10 and 3D Touch.</p>
<h3>Performance, Software and Face ID</h3>
<p>The Apple A11 Bionic six-core chipset that is 25 percent faster and 70 percent power efficient than the Apple A10 Fusion powers the iPhone X. It also features an in-house graphics from Apple that offers 30 percent better performance than the one Apple had used previously. The improved stereo speaker on the iPhone X is 25 percent louder than the iPhone 7 duo. The iPhone X also carries support for Bluetooth 5.0.</p>
<p>The exact capacity of the iPhone X’s battery was not revealed at its launch event. However, Apple claims that it can last 2 hours more than the iPhone 7. The presence of the glass body allows the iPhone X to support Qi wireless charging. The quick charging feature that has been introduced on the iPhone X can gain 50 percent battery by charging it for 30 minutes.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-148972 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Qi-Wireless-charging.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="700" height="636" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Qi-Wireless-charging.jpg 700w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Qi-Wireless-charging-300x273.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p>The iOS 11 will come preinstalled on the iPhone X. It brings the new tap to wake feature. Swiping upwards allows users to unlock the iPhone X and swiping up and hold will show the multitasking UI. Swiping up and throwing gesture brings user to home screen. The Control Center is moved to the top on iPhone X.</p>
<p>Touch ID sensor has been replaced by the new Face ID feature. Enabled with a projector that creates 30,000 dots on the face of the user and a flood illuminator that allows the feature to function even in the dark, the Face ID feature can scan the face of the user and unlock the iPhone X. It can be also used for authenticating payments through Apple Pay.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-148961 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/iPhone-X-sensors.png?x44794" alt="" width="1093" height="491" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/iPhone-X-sensors.png 1093w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/iPhone-X-sensors-300x135.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/iPhone-X-sensors-768x345.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/iPhone-X-sensors-1024x460.png 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1093px) 100vw, 1093px" /></p>
<p>The face scanning sensors on the iPhone X brings a AR new feature called Animoji (animated emoji) that can be used on iMessage. It allows the cartoon characters can match the facial expressions and voice of the user.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-148973" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/iphone-x-animoji-3.gif?x44794" alt="" width="226" height="226" /> <img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-148974" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/iphone-x-animoji-1.gif?x44794" alt="" width="226" height="226" /></p>

There are rumors that the special edition iPhone will be called the iPhone X but some say it will be called the iPhone 8. A blueprint showing the internal components of the phone leaked recently and the title says iPhone X. We&#8217;ll just have to wait till it launches to confirm if its true.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-128551" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/iPhone-X-Blueprint.jpg?x44794" alt="iPhone X Blueprint" width="430" height="800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/iPhone-X-Blueprint.jpg 430w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/iPhone-X-Blueprint-161x300.jpg 161w" sizes="(max-width: 430px) 100vw, 430px" /></p>
<p>The first thing you&#8217;ll notice from the blueprint is the dual rear camera design. Unlike that of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/iphone-7-plus/">iPhone 7 Plus</a> which lies horizontally, this is positioned vertically but still at the top left corner. Next is Apple&#8217;s new generation processor, the A11 chip and the full vision display that extends from the top to the bottom. The new chip will sit below the WiFi and SIM module and should offer an improved performance over the Apple A10 Fusion.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><span style="color: #ff0000">READ MORE:</span> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/04/04/apple-patents-liquid-metal-metallic-glass-back-device-may-debut-iphone-8/">Apple Patents Liquid Metal (Metallic Glass) Back for Device, May Debut in iPhone 8</a><span id="more-128550"></span></p>
<p>There is also a 3D camera and an infrared biometric scanner at the top of the display. Stereo speakers line the bottom as well as a taptic engine and two 3D touch engines underneath the display. The former will provide force feedback sensations. We can also see there are two batteries in the diagram (yellow and peach areas) and a front mounted fingerprint scanner. How the latter will be incorporated under the full vision display is something we look forward to.</p>
<p>If this leak is genuine, then the Galaxy S8 and S8+ already have a worthy competitor.</p>
