<p>If your <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/01/17/apple-unveils-new-mac-mini-m2-and-m2-pro-chip-configurations/">M2 Mac mini</a> refuses to power on, Apple might have you covered. The company has quietly launched a new global service program to address a rare “no power” issue affecting certain 2024 models—offering free repairs for eligible devices.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="738" height="554" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/apple-mac-mini-m2-2023.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-692742" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/apple-mac-mini-m2-2023.jpg 738w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/apple-mac-mini-m2-2023-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/apple-mac-mini-m2-2023-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/apple-mac-mini-m2-2023-559x420.jpg 559w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/apple-mac-mini-m2-2023-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/apple-mac-mini-m2-2023-265x198.jpg 265w" sizes="(max-width: 738px) 100vw, 738px" /></figure></div>

<p>According to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/apple/">Apple</a>, the issue affects a “very small percentage” of Mac minis manufactured between June 16 and November 23, 2024. While the company hasn’t shared what’s causing the problem, it says affected units may simply fail to turn on. Even if your device seems fine, it may still qualify for service under the program.</p>

<p>Repairs are free and can be handled through Apple Stores or authorized service providers. The program covers eligible devices for three years from their original sale date, giving owners plenty of time to take action.</p>

<p>To find out if your Mac mini is eligible, visit <a href="https://support.apple.com/en-in/mac-mini-2023-service-program-for-no-power-issue">Apple’s support page</a> and enter your serial number. Apple also recommends backing up your data before bringing in your device, and notes that if your Mac has any unrelated damage—like a cracked case—you might need to get that fixed first (which could incur a cost) before the power issue can be addressed.</p>

<p>Reactions online have been mixed. Some users on social media appreciated Apple’s proactive move, while others questioned how the issue made it past production in the first place. Regardless, this service program may help Apple maintain trust among Mac users.</p>

<p>This isn’t the first time Apple has launched a repair program—previous efforts have addressed things like MacBook keyboard issues and iPhone battery problems. If you’ve bought an M2 Mac mini recently, now’s a good time to check your serial number and see if you&#8217;re eligible for a free repair.</p>

<p>Bank offers are only applicable if you&#8217;re using the ICICI or Axis Credit Card while making the purchase. Moreover, if you&#8217;re using an Amazon ICICI Bank Card, you can get a Rs 4000 discount on EMI transactions and Rs 2500 cashback for non-EMI transactions.</p>

<p>Apple has <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/10/29/apple-mac-mini-launched-with-m4-chip-and-an-incredibly-small-form-factor/">quietly upgraded</a> the Mac Mini with the new M4 chip, bringing faster performance in the same compact design. The latest M4 chip offers a noticeable boost in CPU and GPU efficiency, making the Mac Mini more capable for both everyday tasks and heavier workloads like video editing or app development. Apple M4 chip comes with up to a 10-core GPU and up to 24GB of unified memory, which means better multitasking and smoother graphics performance.</p>

<p>In terms of design, there are no major changes—the aluminum chassis remains compact and fanless, making it a great option for minimal desk setups or media centers. It comes with a good selection of ports, including two USB-A ports, two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports, HDMI (now supporting up to 8K), Ethernet, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 for faster, more stable connectivity. The Mac Mini with M4 runs on macOS Sequoia and supports up to two external displays, making it a powerful and affordable choice for users who want desktop-level performance in a small footprint.</p>

<p>Getting Rs 4000 instant discount seems like a crowning stroke to maximize the purchase of the Apple Mac Mini. </p>

<p>Apple is working on its next generation of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple">Apple</a> Silicon chips, and the company is expected to release M3 chips in the coming months as a successor to the current M2 lineup of processors.</p>

<p>The Cupertino-based tech giant is also expected to announce <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-macbook-air">MacBook Air</a> powered by the M3 chip in the coming months. But the most powerful devices are expected to make their way next year.</p>

<p>According to the latest report from Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple could launch a high-end MacBook Pro and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-mac-mini">Mac Mini</a>, powered by the Apple M3 chipset, some next year.</p>

<p>In the Power On newsletter, he says, &#8220;It&#8217;s a sure thing that an M3 version of the Mac Mini is eventually coming,&#8221; but it is not imminent. He adds that the device isn&#8217;t expected to debut until late 2024, so it won&#8217;t be among the first series of M3-powered Macs. Similarly, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models are expected to launch sometime in the middle of 2024.</p>

<p>The first lineup of Mac devices powered by the new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-m3">M3 chip</a> is expected to get launched as early as October this year, including a 13-inch MacBook Pro, a 13-inch MacBook Air, and a 24-inch iMac.</p>

<p>The upcoming Apple M3 processor is expected to be manufactured by <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/tsmc">TSMC</a> using its 3nm process, offering significant performance and power efficiency compared to the current-generation M2 chips made using a 5nm process.</p>

<p><a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/apple">Apple</a>&#8216;s new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/01/17/apple-unveils-new-mac-mini-m2-and-m2-pro-chip-configurations/">Mac mini</a> brought a much-needed upgrade to a powerful, compact device that is perfect for users who need a high-performance desktop computer in a small form factor. The latest iteration of the Mac mini comes with the option of Apple M2 and Apple M2 Pro SoCs, which offer improved performance and efficiency over the previous generation Apple M1 SoC.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-1-1024x683.webp?x10805" alt="Mac Mini " class="wp-image-511399" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-1-1024x683.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-1-300x200.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-1-768x512.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-1-696x464.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-1-1068x712.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-1-630x420.webp 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-1.webp 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Teardown videos of the M2 and M2 Pro versions of the device have now appeared online. The videos show that the Mac mini is just as easy to take apart as before. The process involves removing the plastic plate on the bottom of the device, which reveals the Wi-Fi antenna and fan module. These components remain unchanged from the Apple M1 edition. The heatsink also appears unchanged on models powered by the Apple M2. Conversely, versions equipped with the Apple M2 Pro ship with a longer heatsink and a larger logic board.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="799" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple-Mac-Mini-1024x799.jpg?x10805" alt="Apple Mac Mini " class="wp-image-511400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple-Mac-Mini-1024x799.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple-Mac-Mini-300x234.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple-Mac-Mini-768x600.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple-Mac-Mini-1536x1199.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple-Mac-Mini-696x543.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple-Mac-Mini-1068x834.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple-Mac-Mini-538x420.jpg 538w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple-Mac-Mini.jpg 1650w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>The main difference between the Mac mini machines with Apple M1 and Apple M2 Pro SoCs is the size of the logic board and the heatsink. The Apple M2 Pro models have larger logic boards, which allow for more powerful components, such as more RAM and storage. They also have a longer heatsink, which helps dissipate heat more efficiently.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<iframe loading="lazy" title="M2 Mac Mini Teardown / Disassembly (4K - Up Close)" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/H7nBlq-FlXE?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe>
</div></figure>

<p>The teardown also shows that the Apple M2 generation models ship with 256 GB SSD modules, instead of two 128 GB modules as found on the Apple M1 models. This change results in 30-50% slower read and write speeds for SKUs equipped with 256 GB of storage. However, purchasing a model with 512 GB of storage resolves this shortcoming. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<iframe loading="lazy" title="M2 Pro Mac mini TEARDOWN review!" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vbmb_Z8QdxU?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe>
</div></figure>

<p>Overall, the new Mac mini is a powerful and versatile device that offers improved performance and efficiency over the previous generation. Its compact size and easy disassembly make it a great choice for users who need a high-performance desktop computer in a small form factor.</p>

This marks the first time that Apple has brought Pro-tier chips to the Mac Mini, which was previously only offered with the entry-level M1 chip, the same one used in the MacBook Air.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-1024x683.webp?x10805" alt="Apple Mac Mini" class="wp-image-509076" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-1024x683.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-300x200.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-768x512.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-696x464.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-1068x712.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini-630x420.webp 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Apple_Mac_mini.webp 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>According to the press release, the new Mac Mini&#8217;s baseline configuration includes the M2 chip, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage, with an HDMI port, Gigabit Ethernet, and a standard headphone jack, alongside two USB-A ports and two Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports, which is an upgrade from the Thunderbolt 3 ports on the previous generation. This configuration will be priced at $599 and will be available to order today, with availability beginning on January 24th.</p>

<p>For those who need more power, the Mac Mini will also be available in an M2 Pro configuration, which includes 16GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, and an additional two Thunderbolt 4 ports alongside the ports already available on the standard M2 model. This configuration will be priced at $1,299, more than double the price of the baseline model.</p>

<p>The M2 Max chip, which is one of Apple&#8217;s more powerful chip series, is currently only being offered in the MacBook Pro. Apple last revised the Mac Mini in 2020 but did not update its specs when the M1 Pro and M1 Pro Max debuted in late 2021. The M2 chip was first introduced in June 2022 on the MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro and later expanded to the iPad Pro, this is the first time it has come to a desktop device.</p>

</div></figure>

<p>Overall, the new Mac Mini is a significant upgrade from its predecessor and offers a powerful, compact and versatile device that is suitable for both personal and professional use. It&#8217;s also a great option for those who are looking to upgrade their Mac Mini and want to take advantage of the latest technology from Apple.</p>

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true">
<p lang="en" dir="ltr">I think the new Mac mini in 2023 will likely remain the same form factor design.</p>
<p>&mdash; 郭明錤 (Ming-Chi Kuo) (@mingchikuo) <a href="https://twitter.com/mingchikuo/status/1502676564714356738?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 12, 2022</a></p></blockquote>
<p><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script></p>
<p>According to known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the Cupertino based giant will likely retain the same design as the current gen model. In other words, the 2021 Mac Mini will also feature the typical aluminum unibody design that the brand has used for every Mac Mini since 2010. Just earlier this week, we had covered another report from Kuo where he stated that the company will <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/03/11/apple-wont-launch-high-end-mac-mini-till-2023/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">not be launching its new high end Mac Mini till next year</a>.</p>
<p>However, recent reports had hinted at the upcoming Mac Mini model arriving with a refreshed design. Known tipsters like Jon Prosser claimed that the iPhone maker will be launching the small PC with a smaller chasis and a new &#8220;plexiglass like&#8221; top. Apple has been rumored to be working on this Mac Mini model for a while now. So, it won&#8217;t be a surprise if it finally planned on offering it with a redesign. This refresh would be in line with its hardware refresh that came in November 2020, when the Mac Mini received the M1 chipset.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-406866 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured.jpeg?x10805" alt="Apple Mac Mini" width="1440" height="810" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured.jpeg 1440w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-300x169.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-768x432.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-1024x576.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-696x392.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-1068x601.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-747x420.jpeg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1440px) 100vw, 1440px" /></p>
<p>Previously, we had also reported on a rumor that hinted at the company launching the next gen <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/01/25/apple-mac-mini-spring-event-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mac Mini with a M1 Pro and M1 Max chipset</a>. But it seems like these plans fell through to make way for the newly unveiled, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-mac-studio/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mac Studio</a>. At the moment, Apple is believed to be working on two Mac Mini models. One may offer <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-m2/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">M2</a> chipset, while the other is a higher end variant with possibly a M2 Pro chipset.</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://twitter.com/mingchikuo/status/1502163650387542019?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1502163650387542019%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.macrumors.com%2F2022%2F03%2F11%2Fkuo-no-mac-mini-until-next-year%2F" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Ming-Chi Kuo</em></a> on Twitter, the Cupertino based giant will be launching the new Mac Mini in 2023. Notably, the analyst had shared his prediction for the upcoming Mac lineup for 2022 and 2023 just last week. He had claimed that Apple is planning on releasing a new high end Mac Mini and a 27 inch external display without mini LED display tech later this year. But now, he shared an update, which stated that this Mac Mini model has been delayed to next year.</p>
<p>Apart from this, Kuo also stated that the Mac Pro and iMac Pro will also be arriving sometime in 2023. As if right now, the company&#8217;s latest Mac Mini&#8217;s are available with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-m1-chip/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">M1 chipset</a>, alongside Intel variants as well. So, we can expect to see the next gen model featuring the new M2 chip, or possibly even the M2 Pro as well. A recent report had hinted at the M2 chipset being featured on the new 13 inch MacBook Pro, 24 inch iMac, and Mac Mini, which are currently in development.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-353324 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-2.png?x10805" alt="Apple" width="723" height="456" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-2.png 723w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-2-300x189.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-2-696x439.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-2-666x420.png 666w" sizes="(max-width: 723px) 100vw, 723px" /></p>
<p>This chip would be the successor to the M1 and offer the same 8 core CPU, but with improvements to both performance and energy efficiency. Talking about the next gen Mac Mini, it is expected to receive a design refresh, which will have it be built on a smaller chassis, a plexiglass like top, and two tone color options. Although, the PC is still a while away from launch. So stick around for more updates.</p>

<h2><strong>iPhone SE (2022)</strong></h2>
<p>The Cupertino-based giant launched its last iPhone SE model back in 2020, and a successor is long overdue. The upcoming iPhone SE has been a hot topic online and has been subject to multiple leaks over the past few months.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_338665" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-338665" style="width: 900px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><img loading="lazy" class="td-animation-stack-type0-2 wp-image-338665 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Apple-iPhone-SE-2020.jpg?x10805" alt="Apple iPhone SE (2020)" width="900" height="500" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Apple-iPhone-SE-2020.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Apple-iPhone-SE-2020-300x167.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Apple-iPhone-SE-2020-768x427.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Apple-iPhone-SE-2020-696x387.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Apple-iPhone-SE-2020-756x420.jpg 756w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-338665" class="wp-caption-text">Apple iPhone SE (2020)</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>So far, the leaks suggest that the new iPhone SE will come in multiple <span class="red-underline" data-startindex="187" data-endindex="191" data-paragraphid="4">color</span> variants and storage capacities of 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. The iPhone SE (2022) will come in <span class="red-underline" data-startindex="34" data-endindex="38" data-paragraphid="5">color</span> variants such as white, black, and red. The device will be driven by the Apple A15 Bionic chipset, and it will carry support for 5G connectivity (mmWave and sub-6GHz).</p>
<p>Other than the inclusion of the 5G enabled A15 Bionic chipset, the device is expected to remain similar to its predecessor offering a 4.7-inch LCD display and a physical home button at the front integrated with the Touch ID fingerprint scanner. The device was also said to include MagSafe charging, but recent leaks suggest that this won&#8217;t be the case either.</p>
<h2><strong>iPad Air 5 and entry-level iPad</strong></h2>
<p><figure id="attachment_342451" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-342451" style="width: 1024px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-342451 size-large" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/iPad-Air-2020-1024x606.jpg?x10805" alt="iPad Air 2020" width="1024" height="606" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/iPad-Air-2020-1024x606.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/iPad-Air-2020-300x178.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/iPad-Air-2020-768x454.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/iPad-Air-2020-696x412.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/iPad-Air-2020-1068x632.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/iPad-Air-2020-710x420.jpg 710w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/iPad-Air-2020-1920x1136.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-342451" class="wp-caption-text">iPad Air 2020</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>The next-gen iPad Air aka the iPad Air 5 is said to come with the same design and display as the 2020 iPad Air, but the tablet is expected to house the latest A15 Bionic chipset present in the iPhone 13 series. This SoC inclusion will give the tablet the long-awaited 5G connectivity.</p>
<p>The front camera of the device will also be getting an upgrade as it will now support the Center Stage technology which Apple introduced with the iPad Pro 2021. For those unaware, Center Stage uses machine learning to adjust the front-facing Ultra-Wide camera when you use video apps such as FaceTime on your compatible iPad model. As you move around, Center Stage helps keep you and anyone else with you in the frame. This feature will be a great addition considering work and study from home scenarios.</p>
<p>Last month, a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/02/01/iphone-se-2022-with-300-price-tag-ipad-air-5-budget-ipad-appears-in-india/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">report</a> also revealed two new iPads carrying model numbers A2757 and A2589. The tablets allegedly entered India for internal testing and were expected to be launched in spring. These are expected to be the entry-level offerings from Apple in the tablet segment and could be priced roughly around $300.</p>
<h2 class="entry-title"><strong>Mac mini</strong></h2>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-406866 size-large" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-1024x576.jpeg?x10805" alt="Apple Mac Mini" width="1024" height="576" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-1024x576.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-300x169.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-768x432.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-696x392.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-1068x601.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-747x420.jpeg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured.jpeg 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></p>
<p>Another Apple device due for an update is their M1-powered Mac mini. Rumors surrounding updated Mac Minis have been floating for a while now, and if they are to be believed, Apple will introduce the 2022 Mac mini tomorrow with a new design and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/18/apple-announces-m1-pro-and-m1-max-chips-and-new-macbook-pro-with-notches/">M1 Pro and M1 Max chips</a>. According to reports, the Mac mini 2022 will have a thinner body, a polycarbonate top, an increase in the number of ports at the back, and a magnetic power connection.</p>
<h2><strong>Apple External Display</strong></h2>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-447627 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Apple-External-Display.png?x10805" alt="Apple External Display" width="800" height="448" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Apple-External-Display.png 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Apple-External-Display-300x168.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Apple-External-Display-768x430.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Apple-External-Display-696x390.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Apple-External-Display-750x420.png 750w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></p>
<p>As we know, Apple currently only offers a single external display which is the 32-inch Pro Display XDR with a price tag of $4,999. At the 2022 Peek Performance event, the tech giant is expected to unveil a more affordable 27-inch Apple display without mini-LED. Rumors about Apple working on a new Studio Display with 7K screen resolution and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-a13">A13 Bionic chipset</a> have also been making the rounds recently, however, the launch of this high-end product is expected to take place in 2023.</p>
<p>The Apple Peek Performance launch event is scheduled for March 8 and will take place at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (New York, <strong>USA</strong> — 1:00 p.m. EST, London, <strong>United Kingdom</strong> — 6:00 p.m. GMT, Delhi, <strong>India</strong> — 11:30 p.m. IST).</p>
<p>Interested readers can watch the event on the <a href="https://www.apple.com/apple-events/">Apple Events website</a> as well as on Apple&#8217;s Youtube channel by following this <strong><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUwg_JoNHpo" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">link</a></strong>.</p>

At the event, the company is expected to launch a new iPhone SE and iPad Air.</p>
<p>Now, a new report has surfaced online which reveals other products that the Cupertino-based giant has up its sleeves to be launched at the upcoming event.</p>

<p>In the Power On newsletter, <em>Bloomberg&#8217;s</em> Mark Gurman has said that a new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-mac-mini">Mac Mini</a> could be launched during Tuesday&#8217;s launch event. It also adds that the Cupertino-based giant could also preview a new external monitor.</p>
<p>The report adds that Apple completed development on the next-generation external display &#8220;months ago&#8221; and had planned to launch it shortly after it debuted the 14-inch and 16-inch <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-macbook-pro">MacBook Pro</a> models.</p>
<p>For those who are unaware, the technology giant has been working on two external displays, with one of them being a direct successor to the high-end Pro Display XDR and another being a more affordable consumer-level display.</p>
<p>Based on the information available for so, it appears that we will get to see the next-generation iPhone SE and iPad Air with 5G connectivity support at the upcoming launch event, along with a new monitor from the brand, as well as new Mac models powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-m2">M2 chipset</a>.</p>
<p>A couple of days ago, it was reported that Apple is working on a new Studio Display with 7K screen resolution and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-a13">A13 Bionic chipset</a>. However, the launch of this high-end product is expected to take place in 2023.</p>

<p>Ever since the launch of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/11/apples-latest-mac-mini-packs-an-m1-chip-macos-big-sur-starts-at-699/">M1-powered Mac Mini</a>, there have been rumors about a more powerful Mac Mini being under work. Now, a new report hints that the more powerful model could go official later this year.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-353353 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Mac-mini-with-M1-chip.jpg?x10805" alt="Mac mini with M1 chip" width="1440" height="810" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Mac-mini-with-M1-chip.jpg 1440w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Mac-mini-with-M1-chip-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Mac-mini-with-M1-chip-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Mac-mini-with-M1-chip-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Mac-mini-with-M1-chip-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Mac-mini-with-M1-chip-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Mac-mini-with-M1-chip-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1440px) 100vw, 1440px" /></p>
<p>According to the <a href="https://twitter.com/dylandkt/status/1485311433793490953">report from <em>@dylandkt</em></a>, the first event of Apple in 2022 could have an upgraded Mac Mini powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/18/apple-announces-m1-pro-and-m1-max-chips-and-new-macbook-pro-with-notches/">M1 Pro and M1 Max chips</a>. It is also being said that the product will have a new design.</p>
<p>If the previous reports are to be believed, then it will have a thinner body with a polycarbonate top, an increase in the ports at the back, and a magnetic power connection.</p>
<p>The new Mac Mini isn&#8217;t the only device that Apple is expected to launch at the spring event in the coming months. It is also expected to launch a new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-iphone-se">iPhone SE</a> with 5G connectivity support, an updated <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-ipad-air-2020/">iPad Air</a>, and a bunch of other products.</p>
<p>However, the highlight could be the highly-anticipated <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-imac-pro">iMac Pro</a> which is said to be still on track to get launched during the spring event. It is also expected to be powered by the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, but we&#8217;ll have to wait for the official launch as the production delay or issues may affect the devices set to go official during the spring launch event.</p>

<p>When <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple">Apple</a> had announced its move of transitioning to Apple Silicon, it had talked about completing the process within two years. In line with that, Mark Gurman of <em>Bloomberg</em> expects that the company could complete the process by <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/wwdc">WWDC</a> 2022 in June.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-423110 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/laurenz-heymann-wAygsCk20h8-unsplash.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="5819" height="3879" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/laurenz-heymann-wAygsCk20h8-unsplash.jpg 5819w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/laurenz-heymann-wAygsCk20h8-unsplash-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/laurenz-heymann-wAygsCk20h8-unsplash-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/laurenz-heymann-wAygsCk20h8-unsplash-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/laurenz-heymann-wAygsCk20h8-unsplash-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/laurenz-heymann-wAygsCk20h8-unsplash-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/laurenz-heymann-wAygsCk20h8-unsplash-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/laurenz-heymann-wAygsCk20h8-unsplash-1920x1280.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 5819px) 100vw, 5819px" /></p>
<p>This was reported in the latest edition of the <em>Power On</em> newsletter in which Mark Gurman further adds that the new Mac Pro, a powerful Mac Mini, and a large-screened iMac Pro will come powered by the new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-silicon">Apple Silicon</a> chips.</p>
<p>If this turns out to be true, then it means that there could be multiple Apple Mac devices getting launched in the first half of this year.</p>
<p>After launching MacBook Air and Pro models as well as Mac Mini and iMac powered by the M1 chipset, the company <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/18/apple-announces-m1-pro-and-m1-max-chips-and-new-macbook-pro-with-notches/">recently launched the MacBook Pro</a> in 14-inch and 16-inch versions, both of which are powered by the new Apple M1 Pro and M1 Max chips.</p>
<p>The company is expected to launch the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-m2">M2 chipset</a> as the direct successor of the M1 chip but if the reports are to be believed, then there won&#8217;t be any drastic improvement in terms of performance for the new SoC.</p>
<p>The report further adds that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-macbook-air">MacBook Air</a> lineup as well as the entry-level MacBook Pro, which were the first devices to get M1 chipset, will be updated this year. The MacBook Air is claimed to come with the biggest redesign in the product&#8217;s history.</p>

So far, the company has launched three chips for Mac which are based on the ARM architecture.</p>
<p>Now, a <a href="https://ctee.com.tw/news/tech/567784.html">new report</a> claims that the Cupertino-based technology giant is working on a successor of all the existing three chips which will be named Apple M2, M2 Pro, and the M2 Max, and has also shared some key details.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-301818 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Apple-logo.jpg?x10805" alt="Apple Logo" width="1300" height="648" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Apple-logo.jpg 1300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Apple-logo-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Apple-logo-768x383.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Apple-logo-1024x510.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Apple-logo-696x347.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Apple-logo-1068x532.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Apple-logo-843x420.jpg 843w" sizes="(max-width: 1300px) 100vw, 1300px" /></p>
<p>Further, citing information from the supply chain industry sources, the report adds that the company will be updating the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-silicon">Apple Silicon</a> lineup every 18 months in the future.</p>
<p>It is claimed that Apple will be launching the first M2 processor codenamed Staten in the second half of 2022 and in the first half of 2023, there will be a new M2X processor with the codename Rhodes. There will be M2 Pro and M2 Max chips with different graphic cores.</p>
<p>All the chips in Apple Silicon&#8217;s M2 lineup will be manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/tsmc">TSMC</a>) using the 4nm process. It is also speculated that the successor of the M2 series, which is likely to be the M3 lineup, will be manufactured using TSMC&#8217;s 3nm process.</p>
<p>The upcoming M2 series chips from the tech giant Apple will be used across six products from the brand. It is said that the MacBook will be equipped with an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-m2">M2 processor</a> while the MacBook Pro lineup will have M2 Pro and M2 Max options.</p>
<p>Similarly, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/imac">iMac</a> will be powered by the M2 chipset while the iMac Pro will come packed with the M2 Pro and M2 Max. There will also be Mac Mini with an M2 processor and a Mac Pro equipped with the M2 Pro and M2 Max.</p>

There are reports about the Cupertino-based tech giant working on the successor of the M1 chipset, dubbed Apple M1X.</p>
<p>Reports claim that Apple is also working on a new version of Mac Mini, which will come powered by the upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-m1x">M1X chipset</a>. The latest development indicates that the product could get launched in the coming months.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-406866 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured.jpeg?x10805" alt="Apple Mac Mini" width="1440" height="810" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured.jpeg 1440w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-300x169.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-768x432.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-1024x576.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-696x392.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-1068x601.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-747x420.jpeg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1440px) 100vw, 1440px" /></p>
<p>The new report coming from Mark Gurman through his <em>Power On</em> newsletter contradicts a recent report which hinted that the M1X-powered Mac Mini <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/08/18/apple-m1x-mac-mini-delayed-2022/">may have been delayed</a> by Apple to launch next year because of &#8220;marketing reasons.&#8221; Although it didn&#8217;t provide a timeline about the release date.</p>
<p>Do note that the M1X chipset has not been announced yet by Apple but from what&#8217;s known so far, the chipset is said to be a more advanced version of the M1. Apart from Mac Mini, it will be powering other Mac devices, including the upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-macbook-pro">MacBook Pro models</a>.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple">Apple</a> is expected to redesign Mac Mini and add more ports, including a magnetic power port. The product is said to be focusing on the power users and will feature a &#8220;plexiglass&#8221; top. A recent report also indicated that the Mac Mini with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD could have a starting price of $1,299.</p>
<p>Given the updated specs and targeted audience, the pricing of the M1X Mac Mini will be higher compared to the current M1-powered Mac Mini. So, the current model will stick around even if a newer model gets launched, giving an affordable option to regular users.</p>

The Cupertino-based giant is expected to devices powered by the upcoming chipset pretty soon.</p>
<p>The company has already launched Mac Mini powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-m1">M1 chipset</a> and was rumored to launch a new version of the same with the M1X chipset powering the device. It was rumored to get launched in the coming weeks or months but it&#8217;s now delayed.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-406866 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured.jpeg?x10805" alt="Apple Mac Mini M1 Featured" width="1440" height="810" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured.jpeg 1440w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-300x169.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-768x432.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-1024x576.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-696x392.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-1068x601.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Apple-Mac-Mini-M1-Featured-747x420.jpeg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1440px) 100vw, 1440px" /></p>
<p>A new report coming through <a href="https://twitter.com/LeaksApplePro/status/1427688425113726982"><em>@LeaksApplePro</em> claims</a> that the M1X-powered Mac Mini may have been delayed until early 2022 because of &#8220;marketing reasons.&#8221; While the exact reason has not been pointed out, it&#8217;s likely that Apple wants to focus on the new chipset and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-macbook-pro">MacBook Pro</a> models this year. The recent global chip shortage could have also played a role behind this decision.</p>
<p>Earlier, there were reports claiming that Apple could launch the new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/mac-mini">Mac Mini</a> in the fourth quarter of this year, likey in the month of October or November, along with the new MacBook Pro laptops.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-m1x">M1X chipset</a> is expected to be a powerhouse of an SoC, having 10 CPU cores and up to 32 GPU cores. As for the M1X Mac Mini, the Max Tech YouTube channel predicts $1,299 pricing for the base model that should have at least 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD storage.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s a possibility that Apple could unveil the new Mac Mini device along with the MacBook Pro models later this year while the actual launch is pushed to the first quarter of next year, along with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/08/11/apple-launch-macbook-air-boe-mini-led-mid-2022/">updated MacBook Air lineup</a>. To know for sure, we will have to wait a bit longer for the official launch event for this new chipset.</p>
<p><em>Note: The article has been updated to emphasize that the leak talks about the launch date of the M1X-powered Mac Mini and not the release date.</em></p>

It also launched three devices powered by the same &#8212; MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini, officially kicking off the transition from Intel to Apple Silicon.</p>
<p>It has been about a week since the devices are available in the market and now some users are complaining about <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/bluetooth">Bluetooth</a> connectivity issues, which range from sporadic disconnections with peripherals to complete failures.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-353316 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/apple-m1.png?x10805" alt="Apple m1 chip" width="715" height="402" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/apple-m1.png 715w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/apple-m1-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/apple-m1-696x391.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 715px) 100vw, 715px" /></p>

<p>If the reports <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/macmini/comments/jye3hc/m1_mac_mini_has_bluetooth_issues/">coming from users on Reddit</a> are to be believed, then the devices powered by the new Apple M1 chipset faces intermittent connectivity issues with both first- and third-party peripherals, including mice, keyboards, and headphones. Analyst Patrick Moorhead has also shared these issues on Twitter.</p>

<p><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script></p>
<p>As of now, there&#8217;s information about how many M1-powered devices are impacted by this issue. Also, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple">Apple</a> is yet to confirm this Bluetooth-related connectivity issue.</p>
<p>Another set of users are also complaining about battery life, disputing the claim made by Apple. At the time of launch, the company had said that the new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/05/05/new-13-inch-apple-macbook-pro/">MacBook Pro</a> powered by the M1 chipset can offer up to 20 hours of battery life.</p>
<p>Some users are saying that they are only getting around five hours of usage before the battery life drops to 10 percent. However, we will have to wait for more reports related to such issues to determine if the problem is limited to specific devices or not.</p>

The Mac mini has been an exceptional product which Apple describes as its most versatile computer. The PC is different from a regular computer in the sense that Apple offers it without an accompanying screen, keyboard or mouse. As Apple likes to say, it&#8217;s “BYODKM” (Bring Your Own Display, Keyboard, and Mouse).<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-5.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-353327" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-5.png?x10805" alt="Mac mini" width="838" height="562" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-5.png 838w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-5-300x201.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-5-768x515.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-5-696x467.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-5-626x420.png 626w" sizes="(max-width: 838px) 100vw, 838px" /></a></p>
<p>The new Mac mini 2020 is equally equipped with the latest 8-core M1 chip bringing enormous firepower in terms of performance. The performance is said to be up to 3x faster than the previous generation mini. The M1 chip makes the Mac mini capable of handling swiftly demanding workloads ranging from compiling a million lines of code to building enormous multitrack music projects.</p>
<p>The 8-core GPU onboard the computer equally delivers up to a massive 6x increase in graphics performance, allowing the Mac mini to tackle performance-intensive tasks like complex 3D rendering with ease. ML workloads also take a quantum leap forward with up to 15x faster performance over the previous generation. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-353323" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini.png?x10805" alt="Mac mini" width="735" height="413" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini.png 735w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-696x391.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 735px) 100vw, 735px" /></a></p>
<p>Further, despite the ultracompact design, the Mac mini is said to deliver up to 5x faster performance when compared to the best-selling Windows desktop in its price range even though the Mac mini is just one-tenth the size of other Windows desktop.</p>
<p>Apple&#8217;s Mac mini equally packs an advanced thermal design which helps to sustain its breakthrough performance while staying cool and quiet. It support for up to two displays including Apple’s Pro Display XDR in full 6K resolution, and Wi-Fi 6 for faster wireless performance and the Secure Enclave in M1 for best-in-class security. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-4.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-353326" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-4.png?x10805" alt="" width="830" height="560" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-4.png 830w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-4-300x202.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-4-768x518.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-4-696x470.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/mac-mini-4-623x420.png 623w" sizes="(max-width: 830px) 100vw, 830px" /></a></p>
<p>The Mac Mini is presently available for just $699 which is $100 less than the previous-generation quad-core model. This is despite having a more powerful chipset and running macOS Big Sur making it far more versatile and far more capable than ever. BigSur is the latest version of Apple&#8217;s desktop operating system.</p>
