The retail packaging for Apple’s unreleased 35W dual-port power adapter has surfaced online. A Weibo user WHYLAB provided some details of the new power adapter and says up to five variants will be produced for different markets. A couple of the adapters use a folding connector design for a more compact device when on the go.

Previously, we had seen Apple release a support page for the 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter and it was quickly taken down. This was followed by some more details about the power adapter released a few days later. The new adapter uses Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology and is expected to be heat-efficient more than non-GaN models.

The 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter could offer some space options for Apple devices due to its impressive heat efficiency. There is no fear of overheating your iPhone or MacBook with the GaN technology. The yet-to-be-released Apple 35W power adapter will possibly support USB-PD technology for faster charging times in selected devices. The dual USB-C ports are side-by-side unlike most chargers and mass production has reportedly commenced.

The United States, Europe, and India are some of the markets that will be captured in the delivery of the 35W dual-port power adapter. It is rumored that Apple will omit the USB-C cable from the package of the device for the basic version. We are yet to get full details of the device including pricing information and a release date for the 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter at this time. However, the raft of leaks and speculation around the product could point to an imminent launch.
