ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has launched a new gaming monitor, the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM, in India. This monitor was initially introduced at CES 2023 and later became available to markets such as the US and China.

This monitor features a 26.5-inch QHD OLED screen with 240Hz refresh rate and a quick 0.03ms response time. For tear-free gaming, it offers support for both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium.

The monitor stands out for its high-dynamic-range (HDR) performance, with a peak brightness of 1000 nits, 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1.

To improve durability and performance, ASUS has equipped the monitor with a custom heatsink and intelligent voltage optimization, which increases brightness by 17% and reduces temperature by 5% compared to similar models.

It also features an anti-glare coating and a ROG-exclusive Uniform Brightness setting to minimize eye strain during long gaming sessions. For customization and convenience, the monitor includes ASUS-exclusive GamePlus, GameVisual technology, TÜV Rheinland-certified Flicker-Free technology, and Low Blue Light technology.

The monitor’s design includes a unique stand for easy adjustment and a tripod socket for additional device mounting. It supports multiple connectivity options, including DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and USB hub.

Asus recently launched the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM monitor in China. The gaming monitor features a flat 2K OLED panel with a high refresh rate and lightning-fast response time. The monitor has now been made available for pre-order in the US and UK.

The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM gaming monitor can be pre-ordered in the UK for £1,098.95, VAT included. In the US, ASUS plans to sell the monitor for US$999, but it is not yet available for purchase on Newegg. UK customers can anticipate the arrival of stock in April.

The Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM is a top-of-the-line gaming monitor that boasts some impressive features. At 27 inches, the flat 2,560 x 1,440 pixels OLED panel offers an ultra-fast 240 Hz refresh rate and a 0.03 ms response time, making it one of the fastest gaming monitors on the market. The monitor also delivers exceptional color accuracy, with 99% DCI-P3 color space coverage and Delta E <2 color deviations. It boasts a typical 450 nits of brightness for SDR content, while the brightness can reach up to 1000 nits for HDR content.

To enhance the viewing experience, Asus has included an anti-glare micro-textured coating that reduces reflections and up to 1000 nits of peak brightness. The custom heatsink and optimized internal airflow channels ensure that the monitor stays cool even during intense gaming sessions.

Back in January, Asus had shown off its latest premium gaming monitors at CES 2023, one of them is the Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM monitor. Two months after its initial reveal, the monitor is now finally available in China for 8299 RMB (1200 USD).

As per an official Asus product listing, the Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM is the brand’s first Republic of Gamers 1440p OLED flat gaming monitor with an ultra-fast 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response time.

At 27 inches, the gaming monitor features an anti-glare micro-textured coating by Asus that reduces reflections for a better viewing experience in all lighting conditions and delivers up to 1000 nits of peak brightness. The monitor is also fitted with a custom heatsink and a new internal layout to improve cooling, with optimized internal airflow channels and larger top vents for more even heat distribution on the back of the monitor. Compared to other 27-inch OLED gaming monitors, the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM is 5% cooler on average, according to Asus.

Chinese tech news site, ITHome reports that the display supports smart voltage optimization, which ensures consistent brightness for each pixel by controlling the amount of voltage applied to each pixel. Asus worked closely with its display panel suppliers to determine the correlation between OLED brightness, voltage levels and operating temperature, to give gamers the best experience on their OLED monitors.

The monitor is also introduced with a new DisplayWidget Center by Asus ROG to allow users to easily change display functions and OLED settings using a mouse through an intuitive interface. Lastly, the gaming monitor is equipped with an HDMI 2.1 port, which can be connected to Xbox and PlayStation gaming consoles, compatibility with Nvidia’s G-SYNC synchronization technology, and support for HDR 10 for higher quality dynamic colour on your OLED display.

ASUS has showcased the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM with up to 1,000 nits of brightness and a 2.5K display. The announcement comes on the eve of CES 2023, which kicks off on January 5 in Las Vegas. The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM is a 27-inch gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate.

The new ASUS gaming monitor is among a raft of premium products to be showcased during CES 2023. ASUS expects the product to appeal to a wide range of gamers with its impressive features. It sports a 2,560 x 1,440 pixels native resolution (2.5K/ 1440p) and a response time of 0.03 ms. Other features are 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and 135% sRGB color space. The gaming monitor also has Delta E<2 color deviation factory calibration.

The ROG Swift OLED has an anti-glare micro-texture coating which is excellent during gaming. A custom heat sink and a large vent provide sufficient cooling capabilities for the gaming monitor. In addition, ASUS says a voltage optimization algorithm helps to deliver consistent luminance across the panel. The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM will also come with an updated DisplayWidget Center for enhanced functionality.

There are still a few details lacking for the new ASUS ROG Swift OLED gaming monitor. Its release date and pricing information could surface during CES 2023. There are speculations however that the monitor will be available later this year. Among the ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) products set to be showcased during CES 2023 is a premium mechanical keyboard with a compact design.

CES 2023 promises to be a gathering of the crème de la crème of the tech firmament. It officially kicks off on Thursday, January 5 in Las Vegas. It is one of the major trade shows where tech companies show off their latest products. Companies generally begin showcasing their products several days before the official opening of the event.
