Shanling Audio has announced the launch of its third-generation M1 Plus portable audio player. Priced at 1,298 yuan, the device is set to hit the market in early August.

The player has a compact form factor with a 12.5-hour battery life

The M1 Plus boasts impressive audio specifications, including a high-performance ES9069Q DAC and dual SGM8262 operational amplifiers, delivering up to 661mW of power output. Despite its powerful capabilities, the player maintains a compact and portable form factor, with a battery life of up to 12.5 hours.

Shanling has yet to fully disclose all product specifications, with additional details expected to be released closer to the launch date.

The M1 Plus represents a significant advancement in portable audio technology, offering audiophiles an exceptional listening experience in a compact and convenient package.

The OS running on the M5 is based on open Android OS and allows for installation of third-party apps just like on any Android device. Also, having the SD430 means it supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 protocol and can be fully recharged in 2 hours.
