Xiaomi, the China-based smartphone manufacturer, has occasionally partnered with other bands and companies to offer a limited edition product. Today, Redmi — a brand of Xiaomi which recently split from its parent company to work independently, announced a partnership with Marvel.

Under this partnership with Marvel, Redmi will be making a product for the promotion of the upcoming superhero movie Avengers: Endgame — the fourth installment in the Avengers series. While the company has not revealed how they will be cooperating, it could launch a limited edition smartphone, themes or mobile accessories.

Earlier, Marvel had partnered with OnePlus for the promotion of the Avengers movie and as a part of that agreement, the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Edition was launched. While the phone’s specifications remain the same, it offers a different design and custom accessories to accompany with the phone.

Similar, we are expecting that Redmi could launch a limited edition model of its existing smartphone as it’s unlikely to launch a new smartphone anytime soon. If it indeed plans to launch a limited edition of an existing model, the Redmi Note 7 Pro seems to be a good option for that.

However, it’s just speculation from our side and the company has not yet confirmed what it plans to launch under this partnership with Marvel. We’ll just have to wait and watch what’s up the company’s sleeves for a few more weeks as the movie is slated to release on 24th April.
