The Beats Studio3 headphones have already been listed on Apple online store but are still tagged as “Coming Soon”. Unlike the Beats Studio Buds, the Beats Studio3 Wireless uses Apple’s own W1 chip for seamless setup and pairing with Apple devices and offers an unbelievable 22 hours of battery juice with Pure ANC on. It is also possible to power up these headphones for 10 minutes and get 3 hours of runtime in return, thanks to the Fast Fuel technology.

Some of the highlights of the new offering by Apple are the Pure Active Noise Cancelling, real-time audio calibration that ensures a premium listening experience, Apple W1 chip for Class 1 Wireless Bluetooth connectivity, and battery efficiency. Pure ANC-off for low-power mode provides up to 40 hours of battery life. Take calls, control music, and activate Siri with multifunction on-ear controls. And most importantly, soft over-ear cushions for extended comfort and added noise isolation.

This limited Studio3 Wireless will cost $349.95 and can be brought here.

A tweet by Jon Prosser hints that Apple is working on several Beats-centric products for the AirPod line. The end goal is to see that the inventory is reduced as part of the long term project of reducing Beats inventory. The AirPod X is one of the upcoming products and it will be similar to the BeatsX earphones with a connecting cable for sports and running. The headphones will come with a premium design and will retail for $350. The product is targeted at wrestling some market share from Bose and Beats itself.

Apple is also offering good discounts on the Beats lineup as part of this long-term plan. In this regard, the Totally Wireless Powerbeats Pro which is less than one year since it was launched has already gotten a huge $50 slash in its price on the official website. Apple has also taken the decision to reduce the price of its Beats Solo Pro over-ear headphones by $50 as well. Apple employees are also being offered a 40% discount on the Beats products. This is seen as an attempt to reduce the inventory.

Apple launched its own branded true wireless earphones in late 2016 and it was a huge hit. The AirPods became the best-selling wireless earphones globally in a short time. The second-gen version was launched in March 2019 and the AirPods Pro with noise-cancelling features was launched in October 2019. The products helped propel Apple to a 54.4% market share with a whopping 58.7 million shipments last year. The growth of the AirPods line is responsible for the US company’s decision to phase out the Beats brand. For now, Apple looks to be trying to reduce inventory and the Powerbeats 4 may well be the last product under the brand.

Yesterday, Apple-owned subsidiary, Beats by Dre, announced the Powerbeats Pro truly wireless earbuds which share a couple of features with the second-gen AirPods.

The Powerbeats Pro wireless earbuds are nothing like the AirPods in terms of design. It stays firmly in your ears thanks to its ear-hooks, and unlike the AirPods, it comes in four different colors – Black, Ivory, Moss, and Navy.

The earbuds are designed for athletes and Apple says it worked with real athletes to know what they want. The Powerbeats Pro is said to provide balanced audio, improved dynamic range, and enhanced clarity while being comfortable.

Each earbud has its own playback and volume controls and automatic sensors that know when they are in your ears and also support “Hey Siri”. They also have great and stable connectivity as they are powered by the new Apple H1 chip too.

Each earbud will provide up to 9 hours of listening time on a single charge. Combined with the case, you will get more than 24 hours of playback. They also automatically connect to your Apple devices. The good news is the Beats by Dre Powerbeats also works with Android devices and you will also be able to use it with any Assistant of your choice.
