Decathlon has launched a new Peach Orange colorway for its Rockrider E-ACTV 500 hybrid e-bike in Europe. The bike originally debuted in March 2024 and was available in Eucalyptus Green, Lavender Purple, and Cream Beige. The new color is now available at Decathlon’s online stores in France, the Netherlands, and Spain.

Rockrider E-ACTV 500 Specifications

The Rockrider E-ACTV 500 is a hybrid e-bike designed for both casual and adventurous riders. Decathlon equipped the bike with a Yamaha PW-C2 mid-drive motor that delivers a maximum torque of 55 Nm. The motor provides smooth and progressive electric assistance to help riders climb hills and handle tough terrain with less effort. The integrated 504 Wh battery offers a range of up to 150 km in Eco mode and can be removed for convenient charging.

The bike includes an adjustable handlebar stem that allows riders to customize the angle for an ergonomic fit. It also features a 63 mm Suntour SF15 suspension fork to absorb shocks on uneven surfaces. Its hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable stopping power, while reinforced all-terrain tires with puncture-resistant technology ensure durability and safety.

The bike comes with a handlebar-mounted color display that shows essential ride data, including speed, remaining range, and battery percentage. Decathlon added Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to pair the bike with the Decathlon Ride app. The app provides access to ride statistics, route tracking, and firmware updates. The bike also includes a USB port for charging devices during rides.

Riders can add accessories such as a child seat, rear rack, or trailer. The bike is available in three frame sizes for the low-step design, accommodating riders from 1.50 m to 1.90 m in height.

The Peach Orange Rockrider E-ACTV 500 is priced at €1,999.99. Decathlon also offers financing options starting at €176.19 per month.

Decathlon has unveiled the new Stilus E-Touring electric hybrid bike across several European countries. The bike features upgraded components, a powerful motor, and a long-lasting battery, making it suitable for commutes and off-road adventures. This model builds on the previous Stilus E-Touring design with improved performance and enhanced rider comfort.

Decathlon Stilus E-Touring E-Bike Specs

The Stilus E-Touring uses a Bosch Performance Line CX mid-drive motor. The motor delivers 85 Nm of torque for smooth and powerful pedaling assistance, especially on hills and challenging terrain.

The bike has five assistance modes, including Eco for energy-efficient rides and Turbo for maximum power. The motor is paired with a Bosch PowerTube 750Wh battery, which allows the bike to travel up to 130 km on a single charge.

Decathlon designed the bike with a 6061 aluminum frame and offers it in three sizes: small, medium, and large. The medium size weighs 26 kg, making it light for an electric hybrid bike in this category. The low step-through frame makes mounting and riding easier, especially for urban riders.

Lenovo has officially launched the Legion M5000 mountain bike in China. The bike is priced at 2,099 yuan (approx. $290), but a limited-time launch offer lowers it to 1,899 yuan (approx. $262). Students can further reduce the price to 999 yuan (approx. $138) through an education discount. Sales begin tonight at 7:00 PM local time.

Lenovo Legion M5000 Specifications

The Legion M5000 features a 27.5-inch internal routing frame made from 6061-grade aluminum alloy. Lenovo has used a seamless filler process to improve surface finish and structural durability. The frame supports a clean design with hidden cable layout, giving the bike a streamlined and sporty look. The finishing process includes multiple stages, such as grinding, filler application, drying, re-polishing, and painting.

Lenovo equips the bike with an aluminum shoulder suspension front fork. The fork supports a mechanical lockout feature that allows users to switch between rigid and suspension modes depending on the terrain. This setup improves comfort on rough roads while maintaining control on smoother surfaces.

The M5000 uses 27.5 x 2.10-inch Kenda tires with anti-slip tread patterns. These tires are paired with double-layer aluminum alloy rims to provide better impact resistance and improve overall stability. For braking, Lenovo has included Silver Star hydraulic disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. This setup ensures responsive and weather-resistant braking performance.

In terms of gearing, the bike features a 24-speed drivetrain. It includes a Shimano FD-TZ500 front derailleur, a Shimano RD-TY300 rear derailleur, and an 8-speed indexed freewheel. Gear shifting is managed by L-TWOO A3 thumb shifters. The system also includes a triple chainring crankset and a high-precision DG51 chain.

Other hardware includes a 31.8mm aluminum handlebar with a 9-degree rise, an aluminum alloy stem, and an aluminum seat post. The saddle is a Marvi mountain-style unit designed for long-distance comfort. Lenovo uses a sealed bottom bracket to improve drivetrain efficiency and reduce long-term maintenance.

The Legion M5000 is available in Ice White and Carbon Black color variants. Lenovo has not confirmed international availability at this time.

BMW, the company known for its luxury cars, has lately been focusing on electric vehicles and has revealed several concepts over the past few years. In the latest move, the firm has unveiled a new concept — BMW CE 02 mini-bike.

The BMW CE 02, which is revealed just a week before the IAA Mobility Conference in the company’s home market Germany, is a two-wheeler that resembles the CE 04 concept bike which the company plans to start producing.

It has a minimalist look in silver and black colors with “technoid typography.” There’s a circular LED headlight as well as a small display sitting between the handlebars for displaying information like speed and battery status.

Interestingly, the company has opted to make it a simple digital display for necessary information, without the need to connect the bike to a smartphone or an application, which is frankly refreshing to hear at a time when everything is getting connected to the phone.

The product packs an 11kW belt-driven motor that can reach a top speed of 90kmph (approximately 55 miles per hour). While the company has not revealed the battery capacity, it has shared that a fully charged battery in CE 02 can provide a range of 90 kilometers. The whole package weighs 120 kilograms (approximately 265 pounds).

It appears that BMW is trying to position this product as a missing link between a scooter and a motorcycle, and is focusing on urban youngsters.

Although this is just a concept product from BMW, there’s a chance that it could actually go into production. If that happens, then there will be a few changes to its design as the company will need to add license plates, turn signals, reflectors, and fenders.

Xiaomi Mijia Smart Pump is the latest product, which can fill up tires of balls, bicycles, motorbikes and even cars. It is easy to operate and it can save our energy to fill the devices up. Let’s check it out.

Xiaomi Mijia Bicycle Pump looks like a power bank, and there is a high-pressure gas tube on the top. On the front side, there is a monitor which can show modes and tire pressure. On the physical buttons below, there are plus button, minus button, illumination button, mode button and play/stop button, which are to operate the Xiaomi Mijia Pump. The physical buttons are easy for us to use at night, which is better than touch screen buttons.

The air vents are placed on the two sides, which is to cool it down when it is inflating.

On the top, there is a red area which is a storage for pipe joint, and a LED light. The design is good and convenient for people to use at night.

There is an air vent, a charging port and a battery indicator on the bottom. The battery indicator has three different colors for three different battery levels.

The Xiaomi Mijia Pump doesn’t have power button, you just pull out the high-pressure gas tube to turn on the pump. If you want to turn off the pump, you just put the tube into the storage. The pump will automatically turn off if there is no operation within 3 minutes after turning on.

The pump comes with American air tap, French air tap adapter and inflatable needle.

Xiaomi Mijia Pump has 150psi pressure limit which can easily fill up tires of bikes, bicycles and even cars.

We tested inflating a bicycle with the Xiaomi Mijia Pump. We need to choose the corresponding converter according to the type of vehicle, and then check the tire pressure in the mode which can preset the tire pressure. Therefore, it can fill up the tires and stop automatically. It is safe.

The pump is a kind of digital sensor which can accurately measure the tire pressure. The tire pressure can be regularly tested by Xiaomi Mijia Pump, which is more conducive to our driving safety.

In the full state, Xiaomi Mijia Pump can fill up 5 car tires or 8 bike tires or 6 motorcycle tires, and the inflating speed is respectively 8 minutes, 3 minutes, 6 minutes and 1 minute.

As a portable and emergency pump, the performance is good, which can meet our requirement. We use only 1 minute to fill up the bicycle tire.

In conclusion, the small size and portable feature of the Xiaomi Mijia Pump convenient to take it out.

Yesterday, as per a WSJ article, we reported that Xiaomi was going to announce a brand new bicycle under the brand name, the QiCycle, sometime this week. Now, one of the Xiaomi’s official weibo accounts has revealed the new smart bike called as the QiCycle R1. This particular bicycle will be enter crowdfunding stage on March 22 at 10PM.

This could be one of the products from the company’s ecosystem, but as of now, Xiaomi has not yet officially revealed how the product is associated with the company. However, we can expect a lot more details when the bike is up for crowdfunding on March 22.

The QiCycle R1 will be the company’s most expensive product to date, retailing at a whopping 19999 Yuan ($3000). According to previous information, the Xiaomi Bike will be made out of lightweight carbon fiber body, weighing about 7kg. There will be a bunch of motion sensors on board to measure the output. Given the exorbitant price tag, you can expect only professional bikers and enthusiasts to actually consider purchasing the QiCycle R1.

In case you are feeling left out, there is a rumor going around that a cheaper Xiaomi Bike, costing between $450 to $550 will be released soon. If that’s within your budget, then you could soon be riding a Xiaomi bike around.

So, it looks like Xiaomi is basically trying to provide you everything. From smart TV (including curved screen TVs), smartphones, air purifiers, water purifiers, to smart shoes and smart bikes, in a few years time, your house could be flooded with Xiaomi products. Not that it’s a bad thing, considering the quality and the pricing of Xiaomi devices. But just stating that it’s definitely a possibility. In case you missed, Xiaomi is going to release a smart cooker as well, sometime before the end of this month!

Unfortunately, most of these products are still limited to China. Hopefully, that will change in the coming years.
