Besides, it would be a bit naive to leave a $1000-device unprotected. Thus, the market is filled with all kinds of designs and flashy cases. But what about when someone is a gamer and the common cases aren&#8217;t enough? The gaming peripheral company GameSir responds to the challenge with a mobile gaming case.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s been almost a week since we received the case and it comes in a simple but no cheap box. Inside the box, there a black GameSir <a href="https://gamesir.hk/pages/gamesir-i3-gaming-case"><strong>i3</strong></a> case, a USB Type-C cable, the manual, and a &#8220;Thank-You&#8221; note. All look great.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h4><strong>Design</strong></h4>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-3.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-278382" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-3.jpg?x44794" alt="GameSir i3" width="800" height="457" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-3.jpg 1400w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-3-300x171.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-3-768x439.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-3-1024x585.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-3-696x398.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-3-1068x610.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-3-735x420.jpg 735w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></a></p>
<p>Actually, the case looks like any other simple case out there at first sight and it is rather soft and cool because of the soft-touch coating. The back hosts a backlit logo that lights up when you activate the case. The back is not flat but has a little hump that is the battery and also serves as a handle when gaming. There is also a Type-C port at the bottom side used to charge the 180mAh battery. Also, the right side is equipped with two trigger buttons.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h4><strong>iPhone model compatibility</strong></h4>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-1.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-278380" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-1.jpg?x44794" alt="GameSir i3" width="1400" height="800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-1.jpg 1400w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-1-300x171.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-1-768x439.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-1-1024x585.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-1-696x398.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-1-1068x610.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-1-735x420.jpg 735w" sizes="(max-width: 1400px) 100vw, 1400px" /></a></p>
<p>Since iPhone models have some differences in size and camera placement, the company covers these iPhone models: iPhone6 Plus, iPhone7 Plus, iPhone8 Plus, iPhoneX, iPhoneXs, iPhoneXs Max, iPhoneXR. Really impressive since most manufacturers only cover one, maybe two generations of models.</p>
<h4><b>Gaming experience</b></h4>
<p><iframe loading="lazy" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/R2Xtz0CwFAU?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>And now for the most important part: Gaming experience. The phone used was iPhone XS Max and the test game was the popular PUBG. If you are a PUBG fan, you must be wondering why other fingers except your thumbs can&#8217;t contribute to your controlling. Aiming, shooting, moving, tactical positioning, view. All these actions are done by your thumbs since iPhone isn&#8217;t a gaming console and lacks more buttons. This is easily fixed with the i3 case: the &#8220;Left&#8221; trigger is used for aiming while the &#8220;Right&#8221; is used for shooting. And the thumbs do what they should naturally do: the left thumb controls moving while the other one controls view. Finally, a case that transforms the iPhone into a gaming console since iOS is the top mobile platform for game developing out there.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-2.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-278381" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-2.jpg?x44794" alt="GameSir i3" width="800" height="457" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-2.jpg 1400w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-2-300x171.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-2-768x439.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-2-1024x585.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-2-696x398.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-2-1068x610.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/GameSir-i3-case-2-735x420.jpg 735w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></a></p>
<p><strong>To conclude</strong>, the GameSir i3 comes to complete the avalanche of iPhone cases in the market and can become a useful accessory for a hardcore gamer. Of course, it can be improved even more since the hump on the back is a bit annoying depending on the game you are playing. Also, it is a bit chunky and using it as a standard case so that you won&#8217;t have to change cases every time you want to play, would be a bit awkward.</p>
