At first glance, the two speakers look quite similar, and you might assume JBL just tweaked the LEDs. However, looking at the spec sheet shows that the Pulse 6 brings a few practical updates to both sound and connectivity. If you’re trying to decide between the two, here is how they actually compare in everyday use.

Design

boAt has launched the Nirvana Luxe, a Bluetooth speaker designed for home parties and social gatherings where high volume and strong bass are priorities.

The boAt Nirvana Luxe delivers 100W of boAt Signature Sound using a four-speaker setup. This includes two 1.25-inch tweeters for highs and two 3-inch subwoofers for bass. The speaker supports 360-degree Spatial Audio, allowing sound to spread evenly across the room instead of coming from a single direction. For larger spaces, Broadcast Mode lets users wirelessly connect multiple Nirvana Luxe speakers to play the same audio at the same time, creating a louder and more immersive setup.

For audio streaming, the speaker supports LDAC, which allows high-quality wireless playback from compatible devices. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.3 with a range of up to 10 meters, AUX input, USB Type-C, and NFC pairing for supported Android smartphones. A built-in microphone is included for hands-free calling, making it possible to take calls directly through the speaker.

The Nirvana Luxe also focuses on visual appeal. It features dynamic LED lighting with three music-synced modes that react to the audio being played. On its own, the IKEA Kallsup is a tiny cube shaped Bluetooth speaker that stands out by its bright yet minimalistic design. But one of its highlighting features is its ability to pair up with 99 more of its kind.

There are also two small physical buttons for controls. On a single full charge, the IKEA Kallsup can offer up to 9 hours of audio playback at 50 percent volume.

But what truly sets it apart is the scalable audio system. By itself, it is a tiny speaker that can barely cover a room, but when paired with multiple other Kallsup speakers, it can cover larger rooms, outdoor spaces, or everyroom in the house. That one tiny speaker can connect with up to 100 other units of the same model, which offers a massive boost in sound output.

This feature can also be useful for public events, pop-up venues, or collaborative listening setups where coverage is crucial. IKEA hasn’t shared a precise release window yet, but this model will go on sale in the US for just 10 US Dollars in April 2026. It is also available in multiple bright color options, namely hot pink, bright green and white. The new Solskydd is a Swedish word for ‘sun shade’, and arrives in three color options. This includes an 8-inch, an 11-inch, and the largest 18-inch sizes. To add to their premium look and feel, the brand houses the audio drivers under a fabric mesh. While the smallest model has a single driver, the larger models get dedicated tweeters and subwoofers.

On the other hand, the second wireless speaker is the IKEA Kulglass, which looks like a lamp. It carries fluorescent hues, and the designer states that it is also designed to resemble ice cream swirls. According to Teklan, “I wanted this inviting shape to contrast the technical complexity we usually associate with high-quality sound. While the inside is advanced, the outside feels warm, open, and easy to understand.”

It also houses a 1-inch tweeter and a 3.5-inch subwoofer. This also doubles as a regular lamp, housing a standard bumb holder. Harman Kardon has officially launched its Aura Studio 5. The company first unveiled the transparent Bluetooth speaker in China back in August 2025, and it is now being released in the Japanese market. So here are all the details.

Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5: What makes it special?

The known audio brand’s new Aura Studio 5 features a transparent top design that houses one of its key features, which is the new projection lighting system. This is a dynamic lighting system that offers visual effects that surround walls and ceilings. There are five ambient themes that are inspired by nature, namely Snowy Fireplace, Sunrise, Blossom, Aurora, and Ocean. Users can customize between these themes through the Harman Kardon One app, which lets you adjust the brightness as well.

This is a powerful Bluetooth speaker that has a 160W output and 360 degree sound from a 25mm tweeter, six mid range drivers, and one subwoofer. The Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5 has a frequency range of 45Hz to 20kHz, supports Bluetooth 5.4, a 3.5mm audio jack for AUX in, and stereo playback support (so one can link two Aura Studio 5 units).

The design includes a recessed waistline with touch-sensitive controls arranged in a ring layout. Harmon Kardon just launched the Aura Studio 5 in the Japanese market for 46,200 yen, which is roughly around 320 US Dollars. Edifier has introduced the Huazai New Cyber Bluetooth speaker in China. The speaker is available in Aurora White and Phantom Black and carries a retail price of 1,499 yuan ($210).

The Huazai New Cyber is positioned as a desktop speaker system that combines audio performance with interactive display features. The unit features a two-section structure.

The lower section handles audio output, while the upper section includes a transparent, three-sided casing that exposes components such as the power management unit, signal processor, and decorative ambient lighting. It also features a 2.8-inch color display that sits on the front.

The speaker includes a 2.1-channel acoustic architecture. It uses a 4-inch subwoofer, two 52mm mid-high drivers, and three passive radiators. The system delivers 60W continuous output and 120W peak power.

Edifier has equipped the speaker with dual Class D amplifiers and a DSP processor to improve sound clarity and reduce distortion. The speaker supports preset sound modes for music, gaming, and movies, along with a custom tuning mode.
