Back in September, boAt announced the Enigma series of smartwatches with a premium metal design in India. The company is expanding this lineup with a brand-new model dubbed the Enigma Switch, which features a similar metal design but with a swappable strap body. So let’s have a look.

boAt Enigma Switch Specs

The brand’s Enigma Switch sports a circular 1.39-inch HD display that is surrounded by a premium metal body design. This features a functional crown but the highlighting aspect of this wearable is the switchable cases. In other words, you can take out the primary watch module. So you can swap between the steel body for a more elegant look or switch to silicon straps for a more sporty and functional use.

The boAt Enigma Switch features Bluetooth Calling as well, which supports a built-in Dialpad and Save Contacts. It comes with support for more than 100 sports modes and offers IP68 water and dust resistance rating. The device features various health related sensors as well, which include a heart rate sensor, SpO2 blood oxygen mapping, Sleep monitoring, Daily Activity tracker, and Guided breathing. Other notable features include, voice assistant, Find My Phone, smart notifications, music and camera controls, alarms, and more.

boAt’s latest smartwatch model is currently listed on Flipkart for 14,999 INR MRP. However, it will sell it for a lot cheaper in the region. One of its promotional images states that the upcoming smartwatch has a price tag of 3,799 INR (roughly 45 US Dollars). boAt has introduced a new range of luxury smartwatches, namely the Enigma X500, X600, Z30, and R32. All four of these smartwatches boast a sleek metal body design and vibrant AMOLED displays with over 100 cloud-based watch faces for customization.

boAt Enigma X500

Starting with the boAt Enigma X500, it sports a 1.43″ AMOLED display offering 600+ NITS of brightness and a resolution of 466 x 466. Notably, it features an Always On Display function, Bluetooth calling capabilities with an inbuilt microphone and speaker, and an impressive battery life of up to 7 days. Furthermore, it’s rated with IP68 dust and water resistance, making it suitable for various environments. The X500 also provides over 100 sports modes, heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, sleep monitoring, guided breathing exercises, and offers various alerts, notifications, and voice assistant support.

boAt Enigma X600

Moving on to the boAt Enigma X600, it shares several similarities with the X500, including the 1.43″ AMOLED display with 600+ NITS brightness and Always On Display feature. However, it extends its battery life to up to 10 days, maintains the IP68 dust and water resistance rating, and offers the same extensive fitness and health tracking features and voice assistant capabilities.

boAt Enigma Z30

The boAt Enigma Z30 features a round 1.39″ display with a resolution of 360×360 and offers over 100 cloud-based watch faces for customization. It comes with Bluetooth calling, up to 7 days of battery life (3 days with Bluetooth calling), IP67 dust and water resistance, a range of sports modes, heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, and convenient crown navigation for ease of use. Additionally, it offers smart alerts, notifications, and voice assistant support.

boAt Enigma R32

Lastly, the boAt Enigma R32 comes with a 1.32″ round display with 360×360 resolution and over 100 cloud watch faces. It features Bluetooth calling, up to 7 days of battery life (3 days with Bluetooth calling), IP67 dust and water resistance, a variety of sports modes, heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, and even includes menstrual tracking for added utility. Like the Z30, it offers functional crown navigation and supports smart alerts, notifications, and voice assistants.

Price & availability

The boAt Enigma series kicks off at a price point of Rs 3,499 and extends up to Rs 4,299. These smartwatches are set to hit the Indian market on September 15th, and you can find them available for purchase on Amazon India, Flipkart, as well as select retail outlets across India.
