boAt is back with yet another smartwatch and this time, it has features like in-built GPS. The company has launched the BOAT Xplorer Smartwatch in India.

boAt already has few other smartwatches like BoAt Storm, Enigma, and the recently launched boAt Flash. With the BOAT Xplorer, the company has increased the wearable portfolio in India.

BOAT Xplorer Specifications and Features

The BOAT Xplorer smartwatch has a square design with straps available in three colors. The strap material is said to be made out of silicone. There is a crown on the right side for controlling the UI of the smartwatch.

In terms of specs, the BOAT Xplorer smartwatch packs in a 1.3-inch display protected by a 2.5D curved glass. This touch display has a resolution of 240×240 pixels. As mentioned above, the highlighting feature is the in-built GPS.

Using the GPS, you can track your activities outdoor even if you don’t have a phone beside you. Speaking of which, the smartwatch supports indoor walk, run, cycling, elliptical machine, rower, swimming, yoga. Out of this, it automatically detects modes like walking and running.

Other tracking features include heart rate(PPG), sleep, tracking in addition to the menstrual cycle, and guided meditation breathing. However, the watch doesn’t have the blood oxygen(SpO2) measurement feature.

Rest of the features include Bluetooth 4.2, 210mAh battery which can last up to 7-10 days, smart notifications for calls, messages, social media alerts, accelerometer sensor, magnetic charging, 5ATM water resistance.

BOAT Xplorer Price, Availability

The BOAT Xplorer smartwatch is priced at Rs 2,999 in India. It will be available in Pitch Black, Blue(with Orange Fusion stripe), and Grey color options. The BOAT Xplorer already went on sale today(April 16) at noon at 12 PM and it will be available on Flipkart, boAt website.
