The Bowers & Wilkins Pi5 S2 and Pi7 S2 are the latest iterations of the company’s premium wireless earbuds, which first made their debut almost two years ago. These new models come with a host of improvements and new features that enhance the overall user experience.

One of the most notable improvements is the increased battery life. Both the Pi5 S2 and Pi7 S2 offer up to five hours of listening time on a single charge, with the charging case adding an additional 16 hours for the Pi5 S2 and 19 hours for the Pi7 S2. This means that you can enjoy your music all day without having to worry about constantly recharging your earbuds.

Another improvement is the increased Bluetooth range, which now covers up to 25 meters. This means that you can move around more freely and still maintain a stable connection to your device.

The Pi7 S2 models are the top-of-the-line earbuds in the Bowers & Wilkins lineup, and they offer 24-bit/48kHz audio streaming with support for the aptX Adaptive codec. This codec provides high-quality, low-latency wireless audio that is virtually indistinguishable from wired audio. The Pi7 S2 also includes superior adaptive ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) which adjusts the audio to your surroundings, blocking out external noise for a truly immersive listening experience.

The Pi5 S2 models are also high-end earbuds and support the regular aptX codec, and standard ANC via their dual microphones.

Both the Pi5 S2 and Pi7 S2 feature 9.2 mm dynamic drivers that deliver clear, powerful, and detailed sound. They also come in a variety of colors, with the Pi5 S2 available in light grey, dark grey, and purple and the Pi7 S2 available in black, white, and dark blue.

The Pi7 S2 also retains the added benefit of Wireless Audio Retransmission, which lets you connect the case via cable to an external audio source like an in-flight entertainment system and then wirelessly transmit audio to the earbuds.

The Bowers & Wilkins Pi5 S2 retails for $299/€299/£249, and the Pi7 S2 retails for $399/€399/£349. Both models are available via the B&W website and other authorized retailers.
