In a significant stride toward their ambitious expansion plans, BYD’s premium brand, Yangwang, has unveiled its inaugural store in the heart of Shanghai’s bustling business district and tourist hotspot, the Bund. This strategic move follows the recent launch of their debut models, Yangwang U8 and Yangwang U9.

Situated in Room 102 of the historic Roosevelt Mansion Building, the Yangwang Experience Showroom will serve as the flagship destination for customers eager to explore Yangwang’s cutting-edge products, technologies, and services. Unlike BYD’s traditional dealer model, Yangwang is pioneering a direct sales approach, aligning with industry leaders.

This newly opened store will offer a range of services, including sales, product experiences, test drives, and technology-sharing events. It represents the first in a series of carefully selected urban business district locations, emphasizing Yangwang’s commitment to providing premium services in prime city locations.

Yangwang’s expansion strategy doesn’t stop here. The brand has grand plans to open more than 90 directly managed stores in over 40 cities across China by the end of this year. With over 70 stores under construction, the company is gearing up to provide a comprehensive brand experience to customers, covering first-tier and major second-tier cities.

Underlining their commitment to customer satisfaction, Yangwang is introducing two store formats: Yangwang Showroom Stores and Yangwang Center Stores. The Showroom Stores will focus on providing exceptional sales and product experiences while organizing regular user activities. In contrast, the Center Stores will offer a comprehensive suite of services, including brand experiences, sales, delivery, and after-sales support. Some Center Stores will even feature an extreme technology experience area, allowing customers to witness the extraordinary performance of the Yangwang U8.

The Yangwang U8 is available in Premium Edition and Off-road Master Edition. While the Premium Edition is well-equipped, the Off-road Master Edition offers room for customization, providing options for a variety of preferences.
