BYD has officially unveiled the Song Pro DM-i Champion Edition electric vehicle. The lineup consists of four models based on their pure electric range. The pure electric range of the BYD Song Pro DM-i Champion Edition is from 71km to 110km.

The Song Pro DM-i has a dragon-scale hexagonal lattice grille with chrome-plated dot elements. The air intakes on both sides of the model are more efficient and sporty. BYD introduced two new interior and exterior colors to the model together with an upgraded front exterior. The new model retains the basic interior design of its predecessor but with an additional color. The premium model in the lineup has an 8.8-inch floating full LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch rotating Central Control screen. The smaller models only feature a 12.8-inch central control screen.

There are several features in the model that provides several configurations including a panoramic sunroof, 3D panoramic transparent image, automatic air conditioning with dual temperature zones, and a 6-way electric seat for the driver. The car also features the DiLink4.0 intelligent network connection system and a raft of several impressive functionalities.

The BYD Song Pro DM-i is equipped with the DM-i super hybrid system with a 1.5L four-cylinder Xiaoyun naturally aspirated engine with an 81kW maximum output and 145kW drive motor. The base model in the lineup has a pure electric range of 71km while the top model has a range of 110km. The hybrid car averages 4.4L of gasoline per 100km while the battery life is up to 1,090km. The Song Pro DM-i supports DC fast charging and VTOL mobile power stations for enhanced pure electric travel.

BYD Song Pro DM-i Champion Edition

The BYD Song Pro DM-i Champion Edition starts at 135,800 (~$19,184) in China. The top model is priced at 159,800 yuan (~$22,574). There are no global availability and pricing details yet for the Song Pro DM-i Champion Edition.
