Casio has recently announced that it has expanded the reach of its WS-B1000 digital watch to multiple markets around the globe. Launched in June, it’s now available in Malaysia, Europe (Netherlands, France and Spain) and the US. This watch combines traditional timekeeping with modern features.

With a sporty look, the WS-B1000 includes practical features such as a step tracker synced with the Casio app to show your daily step goals which can be set between 1,000 and 999,999 steps. It has Bluetooth connectivity for time updates, alarms, and phone location tracking. It also has a stopwatch, countdown timer, and a long-lasting battery. It has an LCD display with an LED backlight. The battery of the watch can last up to two years.

The watch is durable, featuring 100-meter water resistance and a sturdy resin construction. Its lightweight design, weighing just 36 grams ensures comfort for extended wear. While not a smartwatch, the WS-B1000 offers a practical balance of functionality and simplicity. It goes for $55.95 in the US and €59.90.

In other news, Casio has also recently announced the G-SHOCK GBD-300 smartwatch. Designed for athletes and fitness enthusiasts, it features a slimmer, more compact design, dual bezel protection, a high-contrast LCD display, and advanced fitness tracking capabilities. The watch tracks distance, pace, steps, and calories burned, and connects to smartphones via Bluetooth for notifications and enhanced functionality through the G-SHOCK MOVE app.
