The Caviar Thunderball is a luxury e-scooter with some of its components made of gold. It is yet another exquisite offering from the Russian brand Caviar. The company has gradually carved a niche for itself in satisfying the high-class desires of its premium clientele. It has remained upbeat even with the Russia-Ukraine crisis that has crippled many Russian companies.

The Caviar Thunderball is a fast, convenient, and eco-friendly urban mobility vehicle. Its design and components are quite different from the regular e-scooter and its price is also on the top reaches. The Thunderball is a refreshed version of Minimotors Dualtron X2. It is one of the most powerful standing e-scooters with a top speed of 100km/h and a range of up to 160km.

The Dualtron X2 is the successor of the 2021 Dualtron X. It can navigate both urban roads and off-road settings with its high-performance credentials. The Dualtron X2 weighs 66kg with a maximum payload capacity of 150kg. It is foldable but its weight could limit its versatility in taking on public transport. The price of the X2 is between $6,015 and $6,720.

The Caviar Thunderball is a refreshed version of the 150km-range Dualtron X2. It achieves a peak power of 8.3kW. It also has front and rear hydraulic suspensions, hydraulic disc braking, and electric assistance. The solid base of the Thunderball guarantees a comfortable ride in any terrain. The Thunderball is as flashy as it can get – and very expensive. Most of its parts are gold-plated but it also includes components made of solid gold.

The Caviar Thunderball will go on sale on October 1 and is priced at $49,000. Further customization on each unit will certainly increase the price of the e-scooter. Each unit will require a two-month production period. Caviar has started receiving pre-orders for the Thunderball and an iPhone 14 bonus is part of the freebies on offer.
