Oppo is gearing up for a major launch event in China where it will debut a bunch of new highly anticipated gadgets. This will include the Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s, Find X8s+, Pad 4 Pro, and Watch X2 Mini. Although it seems that the company is also working on some peripherals as well like the Oppo 27W Ice Wing Magnetic Cooling Back Clip that just got teased.

Oppo 27W Ice Wing Magnetic Back Clip arriving in China soon

The Chinese tech giant is set to unveil all of these products on 10th April 2025 at 7 PM local time in China. While we have already covered most of the major products like the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, the Oppo 27W Ice Wing Magnetic Cooling Back Clip was only now teased. As the name suggests, this is a 27W back clip that houses a fan and clip design that allows it to attach to the back of your smartphone.

However, this clip isn’t needed if you’re using a smartphone that has magnetic wireless charging support. This includes devices like the Oppo Find X8 series or the OnePlus 13. As of right now, this magnetic cooling back clip is currently available for pre-orders from the Oppo Mall and JD.com. Unfortunately, this is all the information we have at the moment and finer details like pricing are still unknown.

In related news, the Oppo Pad 4 Pro just had its display specs teased earlier today. The Find X8 Ultra is confirmed to launch with a Snapdragon 8 Elite and a massive 6,100mAh battery pack. A leak also revealed the Find X8S and Find X8S+’s display, battery, and charging details as well.

Red Magic has just announced a new product in China. It is a the new Turbo Cooling Fan, which is an accessory that will help keep smartphones cooler during intense tasks like mobile gaming.

As per official notes, the new Red Magic Turbo Cooling Fan is built with the Chinese smartphone maker’s turbo cooling technology. The back clip fan feature 29 blades that run at high speeds for cooling. This enables it to output powerful air cooling that helps in keeping the temperature of the device in check, lowering it by 4° Celsius. With the brand being known for its gaming smartphones, the new gaming accessory would be welcomed for its customers that play intense 3D games like PUBG Mobile often.

Looking at its design, it appears to have a spaceship rocket like body with the fan being housed in the middle. The teaser shared by the brand also hints at it featuring RGB LED lighting as well, which would add to its “gaming aesthetic.” You know how the saying goes, “more RGB = better gameplay experience.” Unfortunately, finer details like pricing is known as of right now, but the product is set to be released on 17th February 2022 in China. Yesterday, Xiaomi announced an external clip-on cooling fan at the Xiaomi Mi 10 event. Now, the fan goes on sale via the company’s official website in China for ¥129 (~$19). The accessory is said to cool down your smartphone in just two seconds.

The clip-on external ‘Ice’ cooling fan for the Mi 10 comes with 5 leaves and operates at 6000rpm. Xiaomi says that the fan is pretty quiet, generating only around 30dB of noise. It takes a power input of 5V 2A via the onboard USB-C port. While the company is marketing this as a cooling accessory for the Mi 10 series, Xiaomi says it can clip onto any phone with a width between 67-88mm.

Once the external fan is clipped on to the phone and connected to a power source, it can bring down the temperature of the phone within two seconds. There are air ducts on both sides allowing adequate airflow to keep the temperature down. Xiaomi says that the fan can cool the smartphone by up to 10 degrees even while gaming, making sure that you can extend your gameplay for hours.
