Out of all the devices listed to receive the ColorOS 12 update this month, the OPPO F21 Pro 5G is the most interesting. As the device launched in April of this year with Android 11, users have been asking OPPO to update it to Android 12. Now that the ColorOS 12 Beta for the smartphone is scheduled for later this month, the device will most likely get a stable build around the end of July.

Oppo has been rolling out the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 update for eligible smartphones since September 2021. The company has been releasing update schedule every month since then. The latest plan meant for June reveals that the Oneplus flagship phones from 2019 will finally get access to beta update.

When ColorOS 12 was officially announced in September 2021, Oppo disclosed that the Oneplus flagship smartphones released in 2019 and 2020 will receive the update in the first half of 2022. 

As promised, the company had already delivered the update for the 2020 handsets like Oneplus 8, Oneplus 8 Pro, and Oneplus 8T in March. Now, the firm says that the Oneplus 7 and the Oneplus 7T series of smartphones from 2019 will get the ColorOS 12 beta update in June alongside Oneplus 9RT and Oppo A96 5G.

At the same time, Oppo has confirmed to roll out ColorOS 12 stable update for its self-branded 2019 flagships like Oppo Reno 10x Zoom and Oppo Reno Ace in China along with Oppo Reno 7 5G and other newer devices. For those unaware, these phones got the beta update earlier this month.

Oppo is the only OEM known for sharing its monthly software update plan. With the start of the new month, the company is back again with a new schedule. The latest timeline revealed by the firm details the smartphones that will be receiving the ColorOS 12 beta/stable update in the month of May 2022.

According to the plans shared by the Chinese and the global wings of Oppo, a total of 26 devices will get access to the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 update in May. Out of these, 9 phones will get beta builds, while the remaining 17 handsets will receive stable builds.

As we are about to enter December, OPPO has revealed its ColorOS 12 update plan for the upcoming month in China. A total of 11 devices will get access to open beta builds, while 8 handsets will be upgraded to the stable channel.

OPPO is the only major smartphone brand to release monthly OS upgrade schedules for its devices. The latest timeline announced by the company for its home country details the handsets that will be updated to Android 12-based ColorOS 12 beta and stable in the month of December 2021.

OPPO has finally announced the ColorOS 12 in China. As expected, the latest version of the company’s mobile operating system is based on Android 12. It not only brings a new set of features but also a few design tweaks. Here in this article, let’s take a look at the list of devices that will get ColorOS 12 in the coming months in the firm’s home country.

At the end of the ColorOS 12 announcement, OPPO revealed the smartphones that will be updated to the new version of the software. As per the schedule, almost half of the eligible devices will receive the update (at least public beta) by end of 2021 itself.

The update timeline shared by the company confirms that the current-gen flagship models like the OPPO Find X3 series and the OnePlus 9 series will get the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 update in October itself. Further, the OPPO Find X2 series and the OPPO Reno6 series will get access in November, followed by the OPPO Ace2 series, the OPPO Reno5 series, and some OPPO K/A series phones in December.

Lastly, the remaining OPPO Reno series handsets (up to 3rd gen), select OPPO K/A series smartphones, the original OPPO Ace models, and OnePlus phones (up to 7th gen and 9R) will be updated in the first half of 2022.
