That move paid off as people were not really bothered about the processor but were blown away with the display and overall design. The move also gave LG the chance to get a head-start in sales before the Snapdragon 835 phones started launching.

LG has already announced that the LG V30 will be its major flagship for the year. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 835, and according to leaks, will feature dual front cameras. Also for the first time, LG’s high-end smartphone will sport an OLED display. We have also seen a patent that shows a bezel-less phone with a dual display that some speculate may appear in the V30 or G7.

DBS Designing has put together all these details and made a render of the LG V30. It looks really sleek and packs a number of interesting features.

There is a 5.8-inches QHD display with a smaller ticker screen at the top just beside the dual 8MP front facing cameras. It is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage with MicroSD support. The rear cameras are 13MP sensors and there is a 5,500mAh battery under the hood.

You might be wondering if the phone doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner. DBS Designing says its under the display. It remains to be seen if any manufacturer can indeed achieve that this year. The phone is also water resistant, said to run Android O and Daydream ready. Flagship can’t get any better than this.

What do you think of the design?

The next stylus-toting phablet is set to launch later this year and there have been rumors surrounding its design. The popular consensus is that the Galaxy Note 8 will just be a bigger Galaxy S8+ with a stylus and a few additions. DBS Designing has put together a video render of their own idea of the Galaxy Note 8, and it is pretty impressive.

Their Galaxy Note 8 Concept sports a 6.4-inch QHD+ infinity display and not a 4K display like most people are expecting. There are practically no bezels on the sides, and the top and bottom ones have been significantly trimmed. Surprisingly, the display doesn’t curve as much as that of the Galaxy S8 at the edges.

The cameras are the major upgrades on the Galaxy Note 8 Concept. Even though the bezels are thinner, the top one holds two 13MP sensors, a light sensor and an iris scanner. The back of the phone has also been redesigned. The Note 8 sports 16MP dual rear cameras similar to the design on the Galaxy S8+ prototype that surfaced after the official launch.

DBS has resolved the major issue with the Galaxy S8 and S8+and that is the position of the fingerprint scanner. Instead of flanking the camera on the right, it now sits below the LED flash and laser module which in turn sits below the vertically stacked rear dual cameras. This allows for the scanner to be positioned lower and prevents users from stretching to reach it.

READ MORE: Samsung and Qualcomm Already Working on Snapdragon 845 for Galaxy S9

The rest of the specs are worthy of a flagship device like the Note series. There is 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 4000mAh battery with fast charge support. The Note 8 is also water resistant, has a micro SD card slot and is said to run Android 8.0.

Remember, this is just a concept and the real device may have an entirely different design and specifications.

It was the first phone to feature the top and bottom antennae design that Apple replicated on the iPhone 7. Six months later, it was followed by the Pro 6 Plus, and the month after that saw the release of the Pro 6s. A leaked schedule already told us to expect the Meizu Pro 7 in June and we have also seen a couple of leaked images and specs.

The team at DBS Designing have come up with their own renders of what the Meizu Pro 7 should look like. First, lets run through the specs.

The device sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, 6GB of RAM, and either 64GB or 128GB of storage. The processor is definitely the Mediatek X30 and there is a 5000mAh battery inside too with support for Super mCharge. The main camera is a 16MP shooter and the front camera is 8MP.

For the design, they have settled for something similar to the upcoming Galaxy S8. The display is curved on both sides and the top and bottom bezels have been shrunk considerably. DBS have managed to squeeze a fingerprint scanner on the lower bezel. How comfortable that will be when it comes to real life usage remains to be seen.

READ MORE: Meizu’s Flyme 6 Stable version Release, Features Camera Search Tools

The rear is not so much different from that of the Pro 6 though. The lens style is different and the LED flash is now shaped like a pill. There is a USB Type-C port on the bottom and speaker grilles flanking it on both sides.

What do you think of the design?

So there is no reason to rush to release a successor yet. The folks at DBS Designing can’t wait for a successor and have made a render of the OnePlus 4.

For the design, DBS Designing have gone back to the OnePlus 1 for inspiration which personally, I believe has a better design than the OnePlus 3. Basically, you can call it the OnePlus 1 (2017) as it incorporates all the features you should find in a flagship device released this year.

First you have got thinner bezels on all sides. Practically non-existent on the left and right and considerably thinner at the top and bottom. That way, the phone can have a larger display but still maintain the footprint of the OnePlus 3. The top bezel still houses the front camera, speaker and proximity sensor, while the lower bezel holds a physical home button and capacitive back and recent apps keys. It seems the home button also doubles as a fingerprint scanner since there is none at the back.

The OnePlus 4 also gets the dual-camera treatment on the rear. You will notice they have made sure not to exceed the length of the camera housing of the OnePlus 1 but at the expense of ditching the laser focus module.

For specifications, the OnePlus 4 will sport the Snapdragon 835 processor, have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, though there will be a 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant. The rear cameras will be 18 megapixel shooters while the front camera will remain a 16MP sensor. Although the screen size is unknown as that looks larger than 5.5-inches but expect it to be a Quad HD+ screen, giving it Daydream support.

2017 seems to be the year where you either make your phone waterproof or you go home. This OnePlus 4 render ticks the waterproof box but expect it to raise the price of the device. There is a 5000mAh battery under the hood and with Dash Charge support. The bottom of the phone also sports a USB Type-C port flanked on both sides by dual speakers.

The big surprise is the OS. DBS Designing have slapped Lineage OS on the rear just the way the original OnePlus first launched with Cyanogen OS. Chances of this happening in real life is next to impossible. Oxygen OS has come a long way already and OnePlus will not drop it for Lineage. But since this is a render, you are allowed to let your imagination run wild.

What do you think of the OnePlus 4? How much will you be willing to pay for this beast? Do drop a comment in the box below.
