Dell’s AI-powered XPS 13 & Inspiron 14 Plus Arrive in India with Snapdragon Chips

Dell has launched two new laptops in India, the XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus, both featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Series processors and boasting AI capabilities.

XPS 13: Thin, Light, and Long-Lasting

The XPS 13 is the company’s thinnest and lightest XPS model yet. It runs on the Snapdragon X1 Elite processor (12 cores, up to 3.4 GHz, Dual Core Boost up to 4.0 GHz) and comes with the Qualcomm Adreno GPU and Qualcomm Hexagon NPU for smooth graphics and power efficiency. Users can choose between:

13.4-inch FHD+ (1920 x 1200) InfinityEdge non-touch display: 500-nit brightness, 100% sRGB color gamut, 2000:1 contrast ratio, 30-120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, Eyesafe technology, and anti-glare coating.
13.4-inch OLED 3K (2880 x 1800) InfinityEdge touch display: 400-nit brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, VESA Display HDR TrueBlack 500 certification, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 48-60Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, Eyesafe technology, anti-reflective and anti-smudge coating.

Both options boast excellent color accuracy and Dolby Vision for immersive visuals. The XPS 13 comes with up to 32GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB PCIe 4 SSD storage. It houses a 55Whr battery with ExpressCharge 1.0 technology and supports Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 Wi-Fi 7 for blazing-fast wireless connectivity.

Inspiron 14 Plus: Powerful Performance and AI Integration

The Inspiron 14 Plus boasts a 10-core Snapdragon X Plus processor and offers up to 21 hours of local video playback. It features a spacious 14-inch QHD+ (2560 x 1600) IPS touch display and a variety of ports, including:

Dell XPS 14, XPS 16 With OLED Displays, Intel Core Ultra SoC Along With Inspiron 14 Plus Announced In India

At CES earlier in January this year, Dell announced new XPS laptops with Intel Core Ultra processors and a Copilot key. Now, the American PC brand has brought the XPS 14, XPS 16, and Inspiron 14 Plus laptops to the Indian markets. All three machines pack premium specifications and features. It’s worth noting that the XPS duo and Inspiron offering are different from each other.

Dell XPS 14, XPS 16 specifications and features

As the names suggest, the Dell XPS 14 and XPS 16 come with 14.5 and 16.3-inch screen sizes bearing a resolution of 3.2K and 4K respectively. Both models have an OLED display panel with touch support, a 400 nits peak brightness, and a 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut.

The Dell XPS 14 and XPS 16 have zero lattice backlit keyboards with gapless keys. There is a capacitive touch function along with a dedicated Microsoft Copilot key. The laptops have a quad-speakers and an FHD webcam.

Under the hood, the Dell XPS 14 and 16 are equipped with Core Ultra 7 chipsets. The latter is also offered in Core Ultra 9. The XPS 14 comes in Intel Arc GPU or GeForce RTX 4050 option whereas the XPS 16 features RTX 4060 onboard. Both machines pack up to 32GB RAM and 1TB storage. The XPS 14 is backed by a 69.5 WHr battery cell whereas the XPS 16 is powered by a 99.5 WHr unit. The XPS duo have a host of connectivity ports including WiFi-7, Bluetooth 5.4, and more.

Dell Inspiron 14 Plus specifications

The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus comes with a 14-inch LCD display bearing a resolution of 2.2K pixels and 300 nits peak brightness. The laptop has a backlit keyboard along with a fingerprint reader. There is an FHD webcam with a privacy shutter and dual digital microphone array.

Internally, the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 chipset with integrated Intel Arc graphics onboard. There is 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB SSD storage. The machine is backed by a 64Wh battery cell with support for 100W charging.

The Dell XPS 14 and XPS 16 laptops start at Rs 1,99,990 and Rs 2,99,990 respectively for the base configurations. Both models will be available for purchase starting April 25 across online and offline channels. The Inspiron 14 Plus carries a starting price tag of Rs 1,05,990 and is available for purchase.

US PC manufacturer Dell has announced the Inspiron 14 Plus and Inspiron 16 Plus laptops. The models come with the 12th-Gen Intel H-series CPU and GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. The new laptops offer rich audio visuals and are aimed at enhancing creativity.

Dell Inspiron 14 Plus

The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus is available with either the Intel 12th Gen Core CPU or AMD Ryzen 3000 series. The Inspiron 14 Plus is a 2-in-1 machine that suits a variety of demand choices. It has slim boundaries all around the laptop and an Aspect Ratio of 16:10. The display of the Inspiron 14 Plus offers full HD resolution and features ComfortView, DC dimming, and low blue light. It comes with a large touchpad and an optional active pen. With the active pen, users can write naturally without pairing and this is compatible with Windows 11.

Dell Inspiron 14 Plus

The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus comes with either 8GB or 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It comes bundled with Windows 11 Home but Microsoft Office Suite is not included. Connectivity for the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus is via Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. Its ports include 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1, a Thunderbolt 4.0, HDMI 2.0, and its Power Adapter port.

Dell Inspiron 16 Plus

The Dell Inspiron 16 Plus offers the option of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics for more efficient videography and photography. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU is paired with the 12th Gen Intel Core H processor. It offers a rich resource of NVIDIA Studio applications for wider functionality. You can load and switch between apps seamlessly thanks to its 4800MHz DDR5 memory. The internal architecture of the Inspiron 16 allows for faster performance and better heat dissipation. The display of the Inspiron 16 Plus offers up to 3K resolution.

Dell Inspiron 16 Plus

The Inspiron 16 Plus is well-primed for crisp video calling with its FHD webcam with temporal noise reduction. The webcam has a wide dynamic range and dual microphones combined with its AI noise reduction technology. The laptop comes bundled with Windows 11 and up to 1 TB of storage. Microsoft Office is omitted in the Inspiron 16 Plus, as with the Inspiron 14 Plus. Its stereo speakers come with Waves MaxxAudio Pro and Dolby Atmos. The connectivity and ports on the Inspiron 16 are similar to the Inspiron 14 Plus.

The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus and 16 start at $1,349.99 and $1,7499.99 respectively. Only the Dark Green color option will be available for now. Availability in the US and other markets will follow subsequently.
