Dell has launched a new 2-in-1 laptop in India. It is dubbed XPS 13 9315. The device is a flagship offering and packs powerful specifications. It is designed to meet work and everyday needs. Read on to know what the premium laptop offers out of the box. 

The Dell XPS 13 9315 sports a 13-inch display bearing a 3K resolution, 100 percent sRGB colour gamut, and 500 nits brightness. It also supports touch functionality and is compatible with a stylus pen with 4,096 points of pressure sensitivity. The latter can be attached and charged magnetically to the edge of the laptop. It also comes with a built-in Tile feature that can notify and locate the pen on the map if the user loses it. 

The Dell XPS 13 9315 comes with a zero-lattice backlit folio keyboard. It is detachable so that the user can use the device in tablet mode. The keyboard also supports three angle adjustments including 100 degrees, 112.5 degrees, and 125 degrees. The device comes with a 4K 11MP rear and 1080p 5MP webcam. There is also a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. On the audio front, the XPS 13 9315 is equipped with dual 4W stereo speakers. 

Under the hood, the Dell XPS 13 9315 is offered in 12th generation Core i5 and Core i7 variants with 512GB and 1TB SSD storage respectively. Both configurations pack 16GB LPDDR4x RAM onboard. The device also has Intel Iris Xe GPU onboard. Software-wise, it runs on Windows 11 out of the box. 

Connectivity options on the Dell XPS 13 9315 include WiFi-6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports. 

The Dell XPS 13 9315 costs Rs 1,39,990 for the Core i5 variant whereas the Core i7 model is priced at Rs 1,64,990. The laptop can be purchased from Dell.com and select exclusive stores.

Last month, Dell launched the XPS 13 Plus laptop in the Indian market. Now, the brand has followed it with the launch of the Dell XPS 3 (9315), which is a sleek and lightweight machine with a durable aluminum body. So, let’s look at it in detail.

Dell XPS 3 (9315) specs & features

As mentioned above, the XPS 13 comes with a durable aluminum body that is 3.9mm thin and weighs just 1,17kg. It has an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) InfinityEdge Non-Touch Anti-Glare screen and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The slim top bezel of the laptop holds a 720p webcam along with a 400p IR camera.

The device is powered by Intel’s 12th Generation Core processors, and customers can opt to go with either the Core i5 1230U or Core i7-1250U processor. It is available with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage (PCIe NVMe SSD). The laptop comes with Windows 11 out of the box.

Other than that, the XPS 13 offers Sky Backlit Keyboard (US/International) with Fingerprint Reader, Dual stereo speakers (2W x 2), dual-array microphones, Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6 1675 (AX211) 2×2, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 3 Cell 51 Wh battery.

Pricing & availability

The Dell XPS 13 (9315) is available in sky blue, with prices ranging from Rs. 99,989 ($1,260) for the Intel Core i5 variant to Rs. 1,29,989 ($1,639) for the Intel Core i7 variant (16+512GB). It will be offered on the company’s official website and at a few Dell stores.
