During the Final Fantasy XVI Pre-Launch Celebration event, it was announced that a playable demo will also go live for the latest entry in the popular Final Fantasy franchise. The upcoming RPG game’s demo is currently available for download. So here are all the details.

Final Fantasy 16 Demo brings 4 hours of gameplay

The studio behind the FF16 have released a new demo on the PlayStation store, which consists of two segments from the full game. This first segment alone offers 2 hours of gameplay, which is set during a playable prologue of the game. Furthermore, the save data from this segment can even be carries forward to the full game when the game drops later this month. On the other hand, the second part of the demo is another 2 hour long segment.

Although, this part of the upcoming Final Fantasy XVI is more action focused and is based around a mission that shows Clive’s infiltration of a fort. But unlike the prologue, this section of the game’s save data will not be transferred to the final game. This makes sense considering the fact that this part takes place later in the story unlike the prologue. The second segment of the demo is also primarily focused on showcasing the combat of the game and was action packed.

For those unaware, the Final Fantasy XVI is set to hit the stores for the Sony PlayStation 5 on 22nd June 2023. So one can check out this demo on their PlayStation before deciding on purchasing the full game.

A new demo unit from an Apple Store has revealed an unreleased/unused version of its smartwatch. The ‘Apple Watch Pro’ moniker was spotted in a hidden file in the retail store’s demo unit.

This hidden file was found by @AppleDemoYT who shared this news on his Twitter account. The demo unit that has this file featured an original design that had a built in iPad Mini to showcase the watchOS to customers. In this, the “Apple Watch Pro” logo along with other smartwatch variants like Watch Sport and Watch Edition. In other words, it means that the Cupertino based giant was working on Pro variant that it had planned to watch sometime in 2015.

Although, it seems that the iPhone maker did not follow up with this product and changed its plans sometime before its 2015 “Spring Forward” event that revealed the pricing and release date for its Watch. Notably, this demo unit of the Watch also didn’t allow users to try the watch on their wrists, rather, it was simply showcased on a table and wasn’t meant to be tried out. AppleDemoYT also noted that this could be an unreleased model or just a placeholder text for the Watch before the company settled on a name.

In recent times, many OEMs have been placing an increasing emphasis on the looks of their device. This holds true especially with Chinese smartphone makers like Realme that try and offer unique colors and designs on their offerings. Now, Vivo is also looking to offer an eye catching device, which features a color changing rear panel.

In a video shared by the Chinese tech giant, a device can be observed that features a rear panel with shifting colors. The technology used to achieve this is based on electrochromism. For those unaware, this phenomenon allows the glass to change colors and opacity based on the voltage applied to it. In the short video, a Vivo engineer can be seen explaining the technology.

While Electrochromatic glass isn’t something new in the world, but it is largely an untapped resource in the smartphone industry. To explain in brief, two transparent electrode sheets are sandwiched with two glass sheets with an electrochromic film in the middle alongside an ion conductor and ion storage film. So when low voltage is applied, the ios change their consistency, which in turn, changes the light and how it bends when it passes through the EC film.

In another leaked video, the smartphone used to demo the technology appears to be a Vivo S7 5G, as seen by its rear camera module. So, we might see the inclusion of electrochromism in future Vivo smartphones. It is a low power technology so it won’t strain the battery life or cause the device to overheat. Notably, since the technology is transparent by nature, we can also expect a dynamic rear panel that varies in its opacity as well. Although we will have to wait and see when Vivo finally decides to ship this technology in its smartphones.

On MT6595 launch the other day, Media Tek has announced the test machine’ benchmark reached as high as 47000. And now oversea websites disclose something about the trial operation on the MT6595 prototype for reference of benchmark and tuning. From the backside, words “Only for Demo” can be seen with clarity. MT6595 performs excellently, charring a 5-inch screen with pixel resolution of 2k, equipped with a 2000-mega-pixel camera, supporting dual SIM, SD card expansion, double built-in  basebands and FDD-LTE and TD-LTE 4G networks.

As is known, the new AntutuBenchMark of the machine reaches 47233. With such a powerful benchmark, there’s little doubt for it to win a perfect victory against snapdragon 805.
